Hadith #47382
حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ قَالَ‏:‏ كَانَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ يَضْرِبُ وَلَدَهُ عَلَى اللَّحْنِ‏.‏
Abu Nu`aym told us, he said: Sufyan told us, on the authority of Ubayd Allah, on the authority of Nafi’, who said: Ibn Umar used to beat his son for playing music.
