حَدَّثَنَا مَالِكُ بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ: إِذَا عَطَسَ أَحَدُكُمْ فَلْيَقُلِ: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، فَإِذَا قَالَ: الْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، فَلْيَقُلْ لَهُ أَخُوهُ أَوْ صَاحِبُهُ: يَرْحَمُكَ اللَّهُ، وَلْيَقُلْ هُوَ: يَهْدِيكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيُصْلِحُ بَالَكُمْ.
Malik bin Ismail told us, he said: Abdul Aziz bin Abi Salamah told us, he said: Abdullah bin Dinar told us, on the authority of Abu Salih, On the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: If one of you sneezes, let him say: Praise be to God. If he says: Praise be to God, Let his brother or friend say to him: May God have mercy on you, and let him say: May God guide you and reconcile you.
