حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ عُقْبَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللهِ بْنُ سَلْمَانَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ قَالَ: الْكَذُوبُ مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَى يَمِينِهِ، وَالْبَخِيلُ مَنْ بَخِلَ بِالسَّلاَمِ، وَالسَّرُوقُ مَنْ سَرَقَ الصَّلاةَ.
Muhammad bin Abi Bakr told us, he said: Fudayl bin Sulaiman told us, on the authority of Musa bin Uqba, he said: Ubayd Allah bin Salman told me, on the authority of His father, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-Aas, said: A liar is one who lies on his right hand, a miser is one who is stingy with greetings, and a thief is one who is miserly.
