Hadith #48232
On the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, prayed the noon prayer five times, and it was said to him: Should I add more prayers? He said: “What is that?” They said: You prayed five times. So he prostrated two prostrations after the salutation. And in a narration: He said: “I am only human like you. I forget just as you forget.” So if I forget, remind me, and if one of you doubts about his prayer, let him investigate what is right, let him complete it, then let him say the salutation, then prostrate two prostrations.”
