Hadith #48967
وَعَنْ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنِ أَبِي أَوْفَى رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا أَتَاهُ قَوْمٌ بِصَدَقَتِهِمْ قَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ صلى على آل فلَان» . فَأَتَاهُ أبي بِصَدَقَتِهِ فَقَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ صلى الله على آل أبي أوفى» وَفِي رِوَايَة: " إِذا أَتَى الرجل النَّبِي بِصَدَقَتِهِ قَالَ: «اللَّهُمَّ صلي عَلَيْهِ»
On the authority of Abdullah bin Abi Awfa, may God be pleased with them both, he said: Whenever people came to him with their charity, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, would say: “Oh God Bless the family of so-and-so.” So my father came to him with his charity and said: “O God, may God’s blessings be upon my father’s family in full.” And in a narration: “When the man brought his charity to the Prophet, he said: “O God, bless him”
