عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ (وَالَّذِينَ يَكْنِزُونَ الذَّهَبَ وَالْفِضَّةَ)
كَبُرَ ذَلِكَ عَلَى الْمُسْلِمِينَ. فَقَالَ عُمَرُ أَنَا أُفَرِّجُ عَنْكُمْ فَانْطَلَقَ. فَقَالَ: يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ قد كبر على أَصْحَابك هَذِه الْآيَة. فَقَالَ نَبِيُّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ لم يفْرض الزَّكَاة إِلَّا ليطيب بهَا مَا بَقِيَ مِنْ أَمْوَالِكُمْ وَإِنَّمَا فَرَضَ الْمَوَارِيثَ وَذكر كلمة لتَكون لمن بعدكم» قَالَ فَكَبَّرَ عُمَرُ. ثُمَّ قَالَ لَهُ: «أَلَا أُخْبِرُكَ بِخَيْرِ مَا يَكْنِزُ الْمَرْءُ الْمَرْأَةُ الصَّالِحَةُ إِذَا نَظَرَ إِلَيْهَا سَرَّتْهُ وَإِذَا أَمَرَهَا أَطَاعَتْهُ وَإِذَا غَابَ عَنْهَا حفظته» . رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُد
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, he said: When “And those who hoard gold and silver” was revealed, this became difficult for the Muslims. Omar said, “I will release you.” So he set off. He said: O Prophet of God, this verse is considered too great for your companions. The Prophet of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The God did not impose zakat except to enrich what was left of your wealth. Rather, He imposed inheritances and mentioned a word so that it would be for those after you. He said, so Omar said the Greatest. Then he said to him: “Shall I not tell you the best thing a man treasures a righteous woman? When he looks at her, she is pleased and when he commands her, she obeys him.” And if he is absent “She preserved it from her.” Narrated by Abu Dawood
