On the authority of Anas bin Malik, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said: “When God created the earth, it began to sway, and He created the mountains, and He placed them upon them, and they remained stable, and I was amazed. The angels were amazed by the strength of the mountains. They said: O Lord, is there anything among Your creation stronger than the mountains? He said: “Yes, iron.” They said: O Lord, is there anything among your creation stronger than iron? He said: Yes, fire. They said: O Lord, is there anything among your creation stronger than fire? He said: Yes, water. They said: O Lord, is there anything among your creation stronger? Of water. He said, “Yes, the wind.” They said, “O Lord, is there anything among Your creation more powerful than the wind?” He said, “Yes, the son of Adam. Give charity.” With his right hand he hides it from his left.” It was narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and he said: This is a strange hadith. He mentioned the hadith of Muadh: “Charity extinguishes sin.” In the book of faith
