وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ: أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَسِيرُ عَلَى جَمَلٍ لَهُ قد أعيي فَمَرَّ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِهِ فَضَرَبَهُ فَسَارَ سَيْرًا لَيْسَ يَسِيرُ مِثْلَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ: «بِعْنِيهِ بِوُقِيَّةٍ» قَالَ: فَبِعْتُهُ فَاسْتَثْنَيْتُ حُمْلَانَهُ إِلَى أَهْلِي فَلَمَّا قَدِمْتُ الْمَدِينَةَ أَتَيْتُهُ بِالْجَمَلِ وَنَقَدَنِي ثَمَنَهُ وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ فَأَعْطَانِي ثَمَنَهُ وَرَدَّهُ عَلَيَّ. مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ. وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ لِلْبُخَارِيِّ أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِبِلَالٍ: «اقْضِهِ وَزِدْهُ» فَأَعْطَاهُ وَزَادَهُ قِيرَاطًا
On the authority of Jabir: He was walking on a camel of his that had become tired, so the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, passed by it, struck it, and it walked at a walk like no other, and then he said: “Sell him for a camel.” He said: So I sold him and spared his lambs for my family. When I came to Medina, I brought him the camel. He gave me its price, and according to a narration, he gave me its price and returned it to me. agreed. And in a narration by Al-Bukhari that he said to Bilal: “Fulfill it and give it more,” so he gave it to him and added a Qirat.
