Hadith #50073
On the authority of Abd al-Rahman bin Ka`b bin Malik, he said: Muadh bin Jabal was a generous young man, and he did not hold back anything, and he continued to be condemned until he drowned his money. He was all in debt, so he came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and spoke to him to speak to his creditors. If they had left it to anyone, they would have left it to Muadh. For the sake of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, so the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, sold his money until Muadh came up with nothing. Narrated by Saeed in his Sunan, mursal
