عَن سُوَيْد بن قيس قَالَ: جَلَبْتُ أَنَا وَمَخَرَفَةُ الْعَبْدِيُّ بَزًّا مِنْ هَجَرٍ فَأَتَيْنَا بِهِ مَكَّةَ فَجَاءَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَمْشِي فَسَاوَمَنَا بِسَرَاوِيلَ فَبِعْنَاهُ وَثمّ رجل يزن بِالْأَجْرِ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُول الله: «زِنْ وَأَرْجِحْ» . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالتِّرْمِذِيُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ وَالدَّارِمِيُّ وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِيُّ: هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ
On the authority of Suwayd bin Qais, he said: I and Mukharfa Al-Abdi brought clothing from Hajar and brought it to Mecca, then the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came to us walking. So we bargained for trousers and we sold them. Then a man weighed for a fee, and the Messenger of God said to him: “Zen and change.” Narrated by Ahmed and Abu Dawood Al-Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, and Al-Darimi, and Al-Tirmidhi said: This is a hasan and authentic hadith.
