عَن الْبَراء بن عَازِب قَالَ: جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: عَلِّمْنِي عَمَلًا يُدْخِلُنِي الْجَنَّةَ قَالَ: «لَئِنْ كُنْتَ أَقْصَرْتَ الْخُطْبَةَ لَقَدْ أَعْرَضْتَ الْمَسْأَلَةَ أَعْتِقِ النَّسَمَةَ وَفك الرَّقَبَة» . قَالَ: أَو ليسَا وَاحِدًا؟ قَالَ: " لَا عِتْقُ النَّسَمَةِ: أَنْ تَفَرَّدَ بِعِتْقِهَا وَفَكُّ الرَّقَبَةِ: أَنْ تُعِينَ فِي ثَمَنِهَا وَالْمِنْحَةَ: الْوَكُوفَ وَالْفَيْءَ عَلَى ذِي الرَّحِمِ الظَّالِمِ فَإِنْ لَمْ تُطِقْ ذَلِكَ فَأَطْعِمِ الْجَائِعَ وَاسْقِ الظَّمْآنَ وَأْمُرْ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَانْهَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ فَإِنْ لم تطق فَكُفَّ لِسَانَكَ إِلَّا مِنْ خَيْرٍ ". رَوَاهُ الْبَيْهَقِيُّ فِي شعب الْإِيمَان
On the authority of Al-Baraa bin Azib, he said: A Bedouin came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said: Teach me a deed that will admit me to Paradise. He said: “If you are negligent.” The sermon: You have presented the issue: free the soul and free the slave. He said: Or are they not one? He said: “No emancipation of the breeze: that He was singled out for her emancipation and freedom of the slave: that she be appointed for its price, and the grant: the endowment and the fay’ on the unjust relative, then if you cannot bear that. So feed the hungry and give drink to the thirsty, and enjoin what is right and refrain from evil. If you cannot bear it, then restrain your tongue except of good.” Narrated by Al-Bayhaqi.
