On the authority of Ibn Abbas, may God be pleased with them both, he said: While the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, was delivering a sermon, when he saw a man standing, he asked him about him, and they said: Abu Israel vowed to stand, not to sit, not to seek shade, not to speak, and to fast, so the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Marwah Let him speak, take shade, sit, and complete his fast.” Narrated by Al-Bukhari
