Mishkat al-Masabih — Hadith #51903

On the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, some people said: O Messenger of God, will we see our Lord on the Day of Resurrection? The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Yes. Do you have any trouble seeing the moon on a full-moon night when there are no clouds?” They said: No, O Messenger of God. He said: “You are not harmed in Seeing God on the Day of Resurrection, except as you would suffer in seeing one of them. When the Day of Resurrection comes, a muezzin will call, so that every nation will follow what She was worshiped, and no one will remain who used to worship anything other than God, such as idols and monuments, except that they will fall into the Fire until, when nothing remains except those who were. The righteous and the immoral worship God. The Lord of the worlds came to them and said: So what do you see? Every nation follows what it worships. They said: O our Lord, we separated from the people in this world, the poorest we were, and we did not accompany them. And in the narration of Abu Hurairah, they say: This is our place until they come to us. Our Lord, then Our Lord has come, and we have known Him.” And in Abu Sa’id’s narration: “He says, ‘Is there a sign between you and him by which you recognize him? They say: Yes, then a leg will be uncovered, and no one will remain who was prostrating to God of his own accord unless God gives him permission to prostrate, and no one will remain. He used to prostrate out of fear and hypocrisy, except that he made God has his back in one layer, and whenever he wants to prostrate, he falls on his back, then the bridge is struck over Hell, and intercession is granted, and they say, O God, grant us peace. Say hello, and the believers will pass by like the blink of an eye, and like the lightning, and like the wind, and like birds, and like the hooves of horses and stirrups. Delivered and scratched, sent and piled up in the fire of Hell until the believers are saved from the fire. By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, there is none of you with a stronger appeal to the truth - it has become clear. To you - from among the believers to God on the Day of Resurrection to their brothers who are in Hell, saying, “Our Lord,” they used to fast. With us, and they pray and perform Hajj, and it is said to them: Bring out whomever you know, and their images are burned over the Fire, and they bring out a large number of people, then they say: Our Lord, not one of those whom You have commanded us to do will remain therein. Then He will say: Go back, and in whose heart you find a world’s weight of goodness, expel him, and they will expel a generation. Then he says: Go back, and whoever in whose heart you find the weight of half a dinar of goodness, take him out. They will take out a large number of people. Then he says: Return, and in whose heart you find an atom’s weight of goodness, expel him. They will expel a large number of people, then they will say: Our Lord, we have not left therein. Good Then God will say: The angels have interceded, the prophets have interceded, and the believers have interceded, and none remains except the Most Merciful of the merciful. So He takes a handful of the Fire and comes out. Among them are a people who have never done good. They have returned to being like lava. Then He will throw them into a river at the mouths of Paradise, which will be called: The River of Life. Then they will emerge as a seed emerges in a torrent, and they will emerge like pearls with rings on their necks. Then the people of Paradise will say: These are The freedmen of the Most Merciful will admit them into Paradise without any work or any good they have done, and it will be said to them: “You have seen what you have seen” and the like of it with it. “Agreed upon.
