وَعَنْ جَابِرِ بْنِ سَمُرَةَ قَالَ: رَأَيْتُ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي لَيْلَةٍ إِضْحِيَانٍ فَجَعَلْتُ أَنْظُرُ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَإِلَى الْقَمَرِ وَعَلَيْهِ حُلَّةٌ حَمْرَاءُ فَإِذَا هُوَ أَحْسَنُ عِنْدِي مِنَ الْقَمَرِ. رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيّ والدارمي
On the authority of Jabir bin Samurah, he said: I saw the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, one night offering a sacrifice, so I started looking at the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace. And to the moon wearing a red robe, and behold, it is more beautiful to me than the moon. Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and Al-Darimi
