Hadith #52124
وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا صَلَّى الْغَدَاةَ جَاءَ خَدَمُ الْمَدِينَةِ بِآنِيَتِهِمْ فِيهَا الْمَاءُ فَمَا يَأْتُونَ بإناءٍ إِلَّا غمسَ يدَه فِيهَا فرُبما جاؤوهُ بِالْغَدَاةِ الْبَارِدَةِ فَيَغْمِسُ يَدَهُ فِيهَا. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
On the authority of Anas, he said: When the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, would pray the morning prayer, the servants of the city would come with their vessels containing water. They would not bring a vessel except He dipped his hand in it, so perhaps they would bring him a cold morning and he would dip his hand in it. Narrated by Muslim
