وَعَنْهُ قَالَ: أَقَامَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِمَكَّةَ خَمْسَ عَشْرَةَ سَنَةً يَسْمَعُ الصَّوْتَ وَيَرَى الضَّوْءَ سَبْعَ سِنِينَ وَلَا يَرَى شَيْئًا وَثَمَانِ سِنِينَ يُوحَى إِلَيْهِ وَأَقَامَ بِالْمَدِينَةِ عَشْرًا وَتُوُفِّيَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ خَمْسٍ وَسِتِّينَ. مُتَّفق عَلَيْهِ
On his authority, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, resided in Mecca for fifteen years, hearing sound and seeing light for seven years and seeing nothing, and eight years. For years, revelation was sent to him, and he resided in the city for ten years and died when he was sixty-five years old. agreed
