Hadith #52159
وَعَنْ عُبَادَةَ بْنِ الصَّامِتِ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذا نزل عَلَيْهِ الْوَحْيُ كُرِبَ لِذَلِكَ وَتَرَبَّدَ وَجْهُهُ. وَفِي رِوَايَة: نكَّسَ رأسَه ونكَّسَ أصحابُه رؤوسَهم فَلَمَّا أُتْلِيَ عَنْهُ رَفَعَ رَأْسَهُ. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
On the authority of Ubadah ibn al-Samit, he said: Whenever the revelation came to him, the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, would feel distressed and his face would turn pale. And in a narration: He lowered his head and his companions lowered their heads, but when it was recited from him, he raised his head. Narrated by Muslim
