Hadith #1229
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْرَائِيلَ، قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنَا النَّضْرُ بْنُ عَلْقَمَةَ أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ، عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم أَمَرَ بِتَعْلِيقِ السَّوْطِ فِي الْبَيْتِ‏.‏
Ishaq bin Abi Israel narrated to us, he said: Al-Nadr bin Alqamah Abu Al-Mughirah narrated to us, on the authority of Dawud bin Ali, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Ibn Abbas, that the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, ordered the whip to be hung in the house.
