Hadith #1291
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ إِسْمَاعِيلَ قَالَ‏:‏ حَدَّثَنِي سُكَيْنُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ بْنِ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ‏:‏ دَخَلْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ، وَجَارِيَةٌ تَحْلِقُ عَنْهُ الشَّعْرَ، وَقَالَ‏:‏ النُّورَةُ تُرِقُّ الْجِلْدَ‏.‏
Musa bin Ismail narrated to us, saying: Sakin bin Abd al-Aziz bin Qays narrated to me, on the authority of his father, who said: I entered upon Abdullah bin Omar, A maid shaved his hair, and he said: The light softens the skin.
