حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، قَالَ أَنْبَأَنَا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ عَدِيِّ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ سَعِيدَ بْنَ جُبَيْرٍ، يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صلى الله عليه وسلم خَرَجَ يَوْمَ الْفِطْرِ فَصَلَّى رَكْعَتَيْنِ ثُمَّ لَمْ يُصَلِّ قَبْلَهَا وَلاَ بَعْدَهَا . قَالَ وَفِي الْبَابِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ وَعَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو وَأَبِي سَعِيدٍ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى حَدِيثُ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ . وَالْعَمَلُ عَلَيْهِ عِنْدَ بَعْضِ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَغَيْرِهِمْ وَبِهِ يَقُولُ الشَّافِعِيُّ وَأَحْمَدُ وَإِسْحَاقُ . وَقَدْ رَأَى طَائِفَةٌ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْعِلْمِ الصَّلاَةَ بَعْدَ صَلاَةِ الْعِيدَيْنِ وَقَبْلَهَا مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم وَغَيْرِهِمْ . وَالْقَوْلُ الأَوَّلُ أَصَحُّ .
Mahmoud bin Ghaylan told us, Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi told us, he said Shu`bah told us, on the authority of Adi bin Thabit, he said I heard Saeed bin Jubayr, narrating on the authority of Ibn Abbas, that the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, went out on the day of breaking the fast and prayed two rak’ahs, then he did not pray before or after it. He said, on the authority of Abdullah bin Omar, Abdullah bin Amr, and Abu Saeed. Abu Issa said: The hadith of Ibn Abbas is a good and authentic hadith. And it is acted upon according to some people of knowledge among the Companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and others, and it is also said by Al-Shafi’i, Ahmad, and Ishaq. A group of people of knowledge have considered the prayer after and before the Eid prayers from the Companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and others. And the saying The first is more correct...
