Hadith #26690
Qutaibah narrated to us, Abu Al-Ahwas narrated to us, on the authority of Samak bin Harb, on the authority of Jabir bin Samra, who said, “I prayed with the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, the two Eids more than once.” Not twice without the call to prayer or iqamah. He said, and on the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah and Ibn Abbas. Abu Issa said The hadith of Jabir bin Samurah is a hasan and authentic hadith. And what is agreed upon according to the people of knowledge among the companions of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and others, is that the call to prayer is not given. For the Eid prayers or for any of the voluntary prayers.
