Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28277

Ahmad bin Mani’ told us, Abu Qatn told us, Amr bin Al-Haytham Al-Baghdadi told us, Malik bin Mughal told us, on the authority of Talha bin Musarrif, He said: I said to Ibn Abi Awfa: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, made a will. He said: No. I said: How was the will written and how did he command the people? He said: He made a will. By the Book of God. Abu Issa said: This is a hasan, authentic, and strange hadith. We do not know it except from the hadith of Malik bin Mughal.
