حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الأَنْصَارِيِّ، عَنْ حُذَيْفَةَ بْنِ الْيَمَانِ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَتَأْمُرُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَلَتَنْهَوُنَّ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ أَوْ لَيُوشِكَنَّ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَبْعَثَ عَلَيْكُمْ عِقَابًا مِنْهُ ثُمَّ تَدْعُونَهُ فَلاَ يُسْتَجَابُ لَكُمْ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ .
حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حُجْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ أَبِي عَمْرٍو، بِهَذَا الإِسْنَادِ نَحْوَهُ .
Qutaibah told us, Abdul Aziz bin Muhammad told us, on the authority of Amr bin Abi Amr, on the authority of Abdullah Al-Ansari, on the authority of Hudhayfah bin Al-Yaman, On the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, he said, “By the One in Whose Hand is my soul, you will certainly enjoin what is right and forbid what is wrong, or God will bring about That He sends upon you a punishment from Him, and then you call upon Him and you are not answered.” Abu Issa said: This is a good hadith. Ali bin Hijr, Ismail bin Jafar informed us, on the authority of Amr bin Abi Amr, with this chain of transmission similar to it.
