Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28321

Abdullah bin Muawiyah Al-Jumahi Al-Basri narrated to us, Hammad bin Salamah narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Al-Zubair, on the authority of Jabir, who said that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, forbade To handle a drawn sword. Abu Issa said, and in the chapter on the authority of Abu Bakra. This is a hasan ghareeb hadith from the hadith Hammad bin Salamah. Ibn Lahi’ah narrated this hadith on the authority of Abu al-Zubayr, on the authority of Jabir, on the authority of Bint al-Juhani, on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace. Hammad bin Salamah, in my opinion, is more correct.
