حَدَّثَنَا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ نَصْرٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْمُبَارَكِ، أَخْبَرَنَا سُلَيْمَانُ التَّيْمِيُّ، عَنْ أَسْلَمَ الْعِجْلِيِّ، عَنْ بِشْرِ بْنِ شَغَافٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِي، قَالَ جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صلى الله عليه وسلم فَقَالَ مَا الصُّورُ قَالَ
" قَرْنٌ يُنْفَخُ فِيهِ " . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ . وَقَدْ رَوَى غَيْرُ وَاحِدٍ عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ التَّيْمِيِّ وَلاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِهِ .
Suwayd bin Nasr told us, Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak told us, Sulayman al-Taymi told us, on the authority of Aslam al-Ijli, on the authority of Bishr bin Shaghaf, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-Asi, who said: A Bedouin came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and he said, “What are the pictures?” He said, “A horn into which one is blown.” “Abu Issa said: This is a good hadith. More than one person narrated it on the authority of Suleiman al-Taymi, and we do not know him except from his hadith.
