Abdul bin Humaid told us, Abdul Razzaq told us, Muammar told us, on the authority of Al-Zuhri, on the authority of Abu Salamah, on the authority of Jabir bin Abdullah, may God be pleased with them both. He said, I heard the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, talking about the period of revelation. He said in his hadith, “While I was walking, I heard a voice From the sky, so I raised my head, and behold, the angel who had come to me in Hira was sitting on a throne between the heaven and the earth, so I knelt down in fear of him, so I returned and said: They hugged me, they hugged me. Then God Almighty revealed: (O you who gather around, arise and warn) to His saying: (And if you feel distressed, abandon yourself) before the obligatory prayer. Abu Issa said: This is a hasan and authentic hadith, and it was narrated by Yahya bin Abi Much on the authority of Abu Salamah bin Abdul Rahman, on the authority of Jabir Abu Salamah, whose name is Abdullah.
