Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28649

Hanad told us, Abu Al-Ahwas told us, on the authority of Ata’ bin Al-Sa’ib, on the authority of his father, on the authority of Abdullah bin Amr, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said “A man from among those who came before you came out in his robe, strutting about in it, and God commanded the earth, so it took him, and he was strutting about in it, or he said He will dwell therein until the Day of Resurrection.” Abu Issa said: This is an authentic hadith.
