Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #28862

Suwayd bin Nasr told us, Abdullah bin Al-Mubarak told us, Muammar told us, on the authority of Hammam bin Munabbih, on the authority of Abu Hurairah, on the authority of the Prophet May God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: “The young greet the old, the passer-by greets the sitting, and the small greets the many.” He said, and this is a good hadith.
