Hadith #28942
حَدَّثَنَا مَحْمُودُ بْنُ غَيْلاَنَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو دَاوُدَ الطَّيَالِسِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، وَهَمَّامٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، قَالَ لَعَنَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم الْمُتَشَبِّهَاتِ بِالرِّجَالِ مِنَ النِّسَاءِ وَالْمُتَشَبِّهِينَ بِالنِّسَاءِ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ ‏.‏ قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ ‏.‏
Mahmoud bin Ghaylan narrated to us, Abu Dawud al-Tayalisi narrated to us, Shu`bah and Hammam narrated to us, on the authority of Qatada, on the authority of Ikrimah, on the authority of Ibn Abbas said, “The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, cursed women who imitate men and men who imitate women.” Abu Jesus, this is a good and authentic hadith.
