Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #27878

Ishaq bin Mansour narrated to us, Abdullah bin Numayr narrated to us, Ubayd Allah bin Omar narrated to us, on the authority of Nafi’, on the authority of Sa’id bin Abi Hind, on the authority of Abu Musa Al-Ash’ari, that the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “The clothing of silk and gold was forbidden for the males of my nation, but it was permissible for their females.” ". Abu Issa said, and in the chapter on the authority of Omar, Ali, Uqba bin Amir, Anas, Hudhayfah, Umm Hani, Abdullah bin Amr, and Imran Bin Husayn, Abdullah bin Al-Zubayr, Jabir, Abu Rayhanah, Ibn Omar, and Wathilah bin Al-Asqa’. The hadith of Abu Musa is a good hadith. True.
