Jami' at-Tirmidhi — Hadith #29766

Mahmoud bin Ghaylan narrated to us, Abu Ahmad narrated to us, Sufyan narrated to us, on the authority of Yazid bin Abi Ziyad, on the authority of Abdullah bin Al-Harith, on the authority of Al-Muttalib bin Abi Wada’ah said: Al-Abbas came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and it was as if he had heard something, so the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, stood up to The pulpit and he said, “Who am I?” They said, “You are the Messenger of God, peace be upon you.” He said, “I am Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Abdul Muttalib.” Indeed, God created the creation and placed me in the best of them. Then He made them two groups and placed me in the best of them. Then He made them into tribes and made me In the best of them is a tribe, then He made them into houses, and He made me into the best of them a house, and the best of them was a soul. “Abu Issa said: This is a hasan hadith. It was narrated. On the authority of Sufyan Al-Thawri, on the authority of Yazid bin Abi Ziyad, similar to the hadith of Ismail bin Abi Khaled, on the authority of Yazid bin Abi Ziyad, on the authority of Abdullah bin Al-Harith on the authority of Al-Abbas bin Abdul-Muttalib.
