حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا اللَّيْثُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صلى الله عليه وسلم قَالَ
" عُرِضَ عَلَىَّ الأَنْبِيَاءُ فَإِذَا مُوسَى ضَرْبٌ مِنَ الرِّجَالِ كَأَنَّهُ مِنْ رِجَالِ شَنُوءَةَ وَرَأَيْتُ عِيسَى ابْنَ مَرْيَمَ فَإِذَا أَقْرَبُ النَّاسِ مَنْ رَأَيْتُ بِهِ شَبَهًا عُرْوَةُ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ وَرَأَيْتُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ فَإِذَا أَقْرَبُ مَنْ رَأَيْتُ بِهِ شَبَهًا صَاحِبُكُمْ نَفْسَهُ وَرَأَيْتُ جِبْرِيلَ فَإِذَا أَقْرَبُ مَنْ رَأَيْتُ بِهِ شَبَهًا دِحْيَةُ " . هُوَ ابْنُ خَلِيفَةَ الْكَلْبِيُّ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ .
Qutaibah narrated to us, Al-Layth narrated to us, on the authority of Abu Al-Zubayr, on the authority of Jabir, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, “The prophets were presented to me, and behold, Moses A type of man as if he were one of the men of Shanu`ah. And I saw Jesus, son of Mary, and behold, the closest person to whom I saw a resemblance to him was Urwa ibn Masoud, and I saw Abraham, and behold, the closest to whom I saw a resemblance was your companion himself, and I saw Gabriel, and behold, the closest to whom I saw a resemblance to Dihya. He is the son of Khalifa Al-Kalbi. Abu Issa said: This is a good, authentic, and strange hadith.
