حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْقُدُّوسِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَطَّارُ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ كَثِيرٍ الْعَبْدِيُّ الْبَصْرِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا مَهْدِيُّ بْنُ مَيْمُونٍ، حَدَّثَنِي غَيْلاَنُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ، يَقُولُ إِنْ لَمْ نَكُنْ مِنَ الأَزْدِ فَلَسْنَا مِنَ النَّاسِ . قَالَ أَبُو عِيسَى هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيبٌ .
Abd al-Quddus ibn Muhammad al-Attar al-Basri narrated to us, Muhammad ibn Kathir al-Abdi al-Basri narrated to us, Mahdi ibn Maimun narrated to us, narrated to me Ghaylan bin Jarir, he said, I heard Anas bin Malik saying, “If we are not from the Azd, then we are not from the people.” Abu Issa said this. A good, true, and strange hadith
