حَدَّثَنَا أَصْبَغُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ قَالَ: أَخْبَرَنِي ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ زَبَّانَ بْنِ فَائِدٍ، عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ مُعَاذٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قَالَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم: مَنْ بَرَّ وَالِدَيْهِ طُوبَى لَهُ، زَادَ اللَّهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فِي عُمْرِهِ.
Asbagh bin Al-Faraj told us: Ibn Wahb told me, on the authority of Yahya bin Ayyub, on the authority of Zaban bin Faid, on the authority of Sahl bin Muadh, On the authority of his father, he said: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Whoever is dutiful to his parents, blessed will he be. May God Almighty increase his lifespan.
