Hadith #47321
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ الْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْقُرَشِيُّ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا ذَيَّالُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ حَنْظَلَةَ قَالَ: حَدَّثَنِي جَدِّي حَنْظَلَةُ بْنُ حِذْيَمَ قَالَ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ صلى الله عليه وسلم يُعْجِبُهُ أَنْ يُدْعَى الرَّجُلُ بِأَحَبِّ أَسْمَائِهِ إِلَيْهِ، وَأَحَبِّ كُنَاهُ.
Muhammad ibn Abi Bakr al-Muqaddami narrated to us, saying: Muhammad ibn Uthman al-Qurashi narrated to us, saying: Dhiyal ibn Ubaid ibn Hanzalah narrated to us. He said: My grandfather, Hanzalah bin Hudhaym, told me: The Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, liked it when a man was called by his favorite name. To him, and he loved his nickname
