حديث ابْنِ عُمَرَ رضي الله عنهما قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: بُنِيَ الإِسْلامُ عَلى خَمْسٍ: [ص: 4] شَهادَةِ أَنْ لاَ إِلهَ إِلاَّ اللهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا رَسُولُ اللهِ وَإِقامِ الصَّلاةِ وَإِيتاءَ الزَّكاةِ وَالْحَجِّ وَصَوْمِ رَمَضَانَ
The hadith of Ibn Omar, may God be pleased with them both, said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: Islam is built on five things: [p. 4] The testimony that there is no god but God and that Muhammad is the Messenger. God, and establishing prayer, paying zakat, Hajj, and fasting Ramadan.
