Al-Lu'lu' wal-Marjan — Hadith #36743

He said, Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him) said, "An angel met the soul of a person before you and asked, 'Have you done any good deeds?' The man replied, I used to order my servants that, I would give Shu'bah (RA) narrated a similar story from Abdul Malik (RA). Abu Awanah (RA) narrated on the authority of Abdul Malik (RA), I used to give respite to the wealthy and forgive the needy, and Nu'aim Ibn Abu Hind (RA) narrated on the authority of Ribi (RA) that I was a wealthy person.
