Hadith #36837
قال: فقيل: يا رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وسلم)! من هو خير الناس؟ فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «المؤمن المجاهد في سبيل الله بنفسه وماله». فقال الصحابة: ثم من؟ قال: «المؤمن الذي يبيت في كهف الجبل اتقاء الله، ويمنع الناس من شره». (البخاري جزء 56 باب 2 حديث رقم 2786 ؛ مسلم 33/34 هـ 1888)
He said, it was asked, 'O Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him)! Who is the best among people?' The Messenger of God (peace be upon him) said, 'He is a believer who strives in the way of God with his life and property.' The Companions said, 'Then who?' He said, 'He is a believer who takes up his abode in a mountain cave out of fear of Allah and protects the people from his own evil.' (Bukhari Part 56 Chapter 2 Hadith No. 2786; Muslim 33/34 Ha. 1888)
