Hadith #38362
عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم الْخَمْرُ أُمُّ الْخَبَائِثِ فَمَنْ شَرِبَهَا لَمْ تُقْبَلْ مِنْهُ صَلاتُهُ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا، فَإِنْ مَاتَ وَهِيَ فِي بَطْنِهِ مَاتَ مَيْتَةً جَاهِلِيَّةً
On the authority of Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-Aas, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Alcohol is the mother of all evils. Whoever drinks it, it will not be accepted from him. His prayer is for forty days, and if he dies while it is in his stomach, he dies a death of pre-Islamic times.
