وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمرِو بنِ العَاصِ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّم مَا مِنْ غَازِيَةٍ أَوْ سَرِيّةٍ تَغْزُو فَتَغْنَمُ وَتَسْلَمُ إِلاَّ كَانُوا قَدْ تَعَجَّلُوا ثُلُثَيْ أُجُورهُمْ وَمَا مِنْ غَازِيَةٍ أَوْ سَرِيّةٍ تُخْفِقُ وَتُصَابُ إِلاَّ تَمَّ لَهُمْ أُجُورهُمْرواه مسلم
On the authority of Abdullah bin Amr bin Al-Aas, may God be pleased with them both, he said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: There is no guerrilla or expeditionary force that invades and takes spoils. And it will be delivered, except that they have hastened two-thirds of their wages, and there is no invading force or expeditionary force that fails or is injured but that their wages will be fully paid.
