Riyad as-Salihin — Hadith #38896

Hadith #38896
وعن أبي أمامة رضي الله عنه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال‏:‏ من لم يغزُ أو يجهز غازيًا، أو يخلف غازيًا في أهله بخير أصابه الله بقارعة قبل يوم القيامة‏:‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه أبو داود بإسناد صحيح‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On the authority of Abu Umamah, may God be pleased with him, on the authority of the Prophet, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, he said: Whoever does not fight, or prepare a fighter, or leave a fighter behind his family with good, God will strike him with a calamity before the Day of Resurrection: ((Narrated by Abu Dawud with an authentic chain of transmission)).
