Riyad as-Salihin — Hadith #38925

And on the authority of the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, that he used to say when morning came: “O God, by you we have entered the morning, by you we have entered the evening, by you we live, by you we die, and to You is the resurrection.” And when evening came, he would say: “O God, by you we have entered the evening, by you we live, by you we die, and to You is the return.” Narrated by Abu Dawud and Al-Tirmidhi, who said it was a good hadith.
