Hadith #38926
وعن أبي هريرة رضي الله عنه قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:
"إذا أوى أحدكم إلى فراشه، فلينفض فراشه بداخلة إزاره فإنه لا يدري ما خلفه عليه، ثم يقول: باسمك ربي وضعت جنبي، وبك أرفعه؛ إن أمسكت نفسي فارحمها، وإن أرسلتها، فاحفظها بما تحفظ به عبادك الصالحين" ((متفق عليه)).
On the authority of Abu Hurairah, may God be pleased with him, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said:
“When one of you goes to bed, let him shake his bed with the inside of his garment, for he does not know what he left on it, and then say: In your name, my Lord, I have placed my side, and in you I raise it. If you hold my soul, have mercy on it, and if you release it, then protect it with the same way you protect your righteous servants.” (Agreed upon).
