Hadith #38989
عن جابر رضي الله عنه قال‏:‏ أتي بأبي قحافة والد أبي بكر الصديق رضي الله عنهما يوم فتح مكة ورأسه ولحيته كالثغامة بياضًا، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ‏:‏ ‏ "‏غيروا هذا واجتنبوا السواد‏"‏ ‏(‏‏(‏رواه مسلم‏)‏‏)‏‏.‏
On the authority of Jabir, may God be pleased with him, he said: Abu Quhafa, the father of Abu Bakr al-Siddiq, may God be pleased with them both, was brought on the day of the conquest of Mecca, and his head and beard were as white as a dent, and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Change this and avoid blackness” ((Narrated by Muslim)).
