Riyad as-Salihin — Hadith #39055

On the authority of Jaber bin Abdullah, may God be pleased with them both, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The most beloved of you to me, and the closest of you to me in assembly on the Day of Resurrection, will be the ones with the best morals, and the ones I hate the most to me and the furthest away from me on the Day of Resurrection are the gossips, the rants, and the frivolous.” ((Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and he said it is a good hadith)). It has previously been explained in the chapter on good morals.
