Riyad as-Salihin — Hadith #45871

On the authority of Thabit, on the authority of Anas, may God be pleased with him, he said: He came to the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, while I was playing with the boys, so he greeted us and sent me on a need, so I was late for my mother. When I came, she said: What kept you? So I said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, sent me for a need. She said: What is his need? I said: It is a secret. She said: Do not tell the secret of the Messenger of God. God, may God bless him and grant him peace, someone. Anas said: By God, if I had narrated it Someone I would have told you about, O Thabit.
