Hadith #39666
وَعَنْ بِلاَلِ بْنِ الْحَارِثِ الْمُزَنِيْ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللهِ ﷺ مَنْ أَحْيَا سُنَّةً مِنْ سُنَّتِي قَدْ أُمِيتَتْ بَعْدِي فَإِنَّ لَه مِنَ الْأَجْرِ مِثْلَ اُجُوْرِ مَنْ عَمِلَ بِهَا مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَنْقُصَ مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْئًا وَمَنِ ابْتَدَعَ بِدْعَةَ ضَلَالَةً لَا يَرْضَاهَا اللهَ وَرَسُولُه كَانَ عَلَيْهِ مِنَ الْاِثْمِ مِثْلُ اۤثَامِ مَنْ عَمِلَ بِهَا لَا يَنْقُصُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ أَوْزَارِهِمْ شَيْئًا. ورَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِيُّ
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: "Whoever has worshipped one of my Sunnahs, which was released after me, it will be so rewarding as much as the reward of the sunnah will be as if the reward of the sun, but no part of the reward of the Amals on the Sunnah will be reduced to the reward of the people." And whoever creates a new path of the Ghumrahi, so that Allah and His Messenger may not be pleased with him, he will be punished for his sins, and those who do wrong with him, but will not diminish their sins.
