Mishkatul Masabih # 0/1961
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: إذا كان أول ليلة من شهر رمضان حبس الشيطان ومردة الجن. أبواب الجحيم مغلقة. لا يتم الاحتفاظ بأي من هذه مفتوحة. وفي هذه الأثناء تفتح أبواب الجنة. لم يتم تأجيل أي واحد. ينادي الداعي (الملاك) يا طالب الخير! المضي قدما في العمل لله. يا طالب البؤس والشر! (من فعل الأشياء السيئة) توقف. في هذا الشهر يعتق الله الناس من النار ويحررهم من النار ويحدث ذلك كل ليلة (من شهر رمضان). (الترمذي وابن ماجه) [1]
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said: When the first night of the month of Ramadhan (Ramadan) comes, Satan and the disobedient jinn are imprisoned. The gates of hell are closed. None of these are kept open. Meanwhile, the gates of Paradise is opened. Not one is held off. The summoner (the angel) declares, O seeker of welfare! Go ahead in the work of God. O seeker of misfortune and evil! (from doing bad things) stop. In this month, Allah saves people from hell fire liberates and it happens every night (of the month of Ramadhan). (Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah) [1]

وقال الإمام الترمذي (رضي الله عنه): الحديث ضعيف.[1]
Imam Tirmidhi (RA) said, the hadith is poor.[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/1963
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «أتاكم شهر رمضان المبارك». وقد فرض الله عليك صيام هذا الشهر. في هذا الشهر تفتح أبواب الجنة وتغلق أبواب النار كلها. في هذا الشهر تسجن الشياطين المتمردة. إن في هذا الشهر ليلة واحدة خير من ألف شهر. الشخص الذي يُحرم من خير هذه الليلة؛ وبقي بطبيعة الحال محروماً من كل رفاهية. (أحمد والنسائي) [1]
He said, Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam said: The blessed month of Ramadan has come for you. Allah has made it obligatory for you to fast in this month. In this month the gates of Heaven are opened and all of Hell is closed the door In this month rebellious devils are imprisoned. There is one night in this month that is better than a thousand months. The person who is deprived of the welfare of this night; He, of course, remained deprived of every welfare. (Ahmed and Nasa'i) [1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/1964
قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: الصيام والقرآن يشفعان للعبد. فيقول صيام يا رب! منعته من تناول الطعام في النهار ومن تخفيف الرغبة. فتقبل شفاعتي فيه الآن. القرآن قل يا رب! أبقيته مستيقظا في الليل. لذا اقبل توصيتي بشأنه الآن. وبعد ذلك سيتم قبول كلا التوصيتين. (بيهقي، شعب الإيمان)[1]
Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: Fasting and the Qur'an intercede for the servant. Siam will say, O Lord! I prevented him from taking food during the day and from relieving the urges. So accept my intercession regarding him now. Quran Say, O Lord! I kept him awake at night. So accept my recommendation regarding him now. Then both recommendations will be accepted. (Bayhaqvi; Shu'abul 'Iman)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/1966
وَعَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : دَخَلَ رَمَضَانُ فَقَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ : «إِنَّ هٰذَا الشَّهْرَ قَدْ حَضَرَكُمْ، وَفِيهِ لَيْلَةٌ خَيْرٌ مَنْ أَلْفِ شَهْرٍ، مَنْ حُرِمَهَا فَقَدْ حُرِمَ الْخَيْرَ كُلَّه، وَلَا يُحْرَمُ خَيْرَهَا إِلَّا كُلُّ مَحْرُوْمٍ». رَوَاهُ ابْن مَاجَه
On the authority of Anas bin Malik, he said: Ramadan came and the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Indeed, this month has come to you, and in it is a night better than a thousand. A month. Whoever is deprived of it has been deprived of all goodness, and no one is deprived of its goodness except every deprived person.” Narrated by Ibn Majah

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/1970
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: لا تصوموا حتى تروا القمر، ولا تفطروا حتى تروه. فإن لم تتمكن من رؤية القمر لأن السماء غيمة، فثلاثين يوما من الشهر (شعبان). أكمله (يعني: اجعل هذا الشهر ثلاثين يومًا). فلا تصوموا حتى ترى الهلال. فإذا غممت السماء فقد تم من الشهر ثلاثون يومًا (البخاري ومسلم)[1]
He said: The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: Do not fast until you see the moon, and do not break your fast until you see it. If you cannot see the moon because the sky is overcast, then thirty days of the month (Sha'ban). Complete it (meaning - consider this month as thirty days). So do not observe the fast until the moon is seen. If the sky is cloudy then thirty days of the month are complete do it (Bukhari, Muslim)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/1974
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: لا يصوم أحدكم قبل شهر رمضان يوما أو يومين. لكن من اعتاد صيام أيام معينة يمكنه أن يصوم تلك الأيام. (البخاري، مسلم)[1]
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: None of you should fast one or two days before the month of Ramadhan. But a person who is used to fasting on certain days can fast on those days. (Bukhari, Muslim)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/1975
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: لا تصوموا على نصف شعبان. (أبو داود، الترمذي، ابن ماجه، الدارمي)[1]
He said, Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam said: Do not fast when half of the month of Sha'ban has passed. (Abu Dawud, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah, Darimi)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/1977
وَعَنْ أُمِّ سَلَمَةَ قَالَتْ: مَا رَأَيْتُ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ يَصُومُ شَهْرَيْنِ مُتَتَابِعَيْنِ إِلَّا شَعْبَانَ وَرَمَضَانَ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالتِّرْمِذِىُّ وَالنَّسَائِىُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ
On the authority of Umm Salamah, she said: I have never seen the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, fast for two consecutive months except during Sha’ban and Ramadan. Narrated by Abu Dawud, Al-Tirmidhi, Al-Nasa’i, and Ibn Majah

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/1978
وَعَنْ عَمَّارِ بْنِ يَاسِرٍ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهُمَا قَالَ: مَنْ صَامَ الْيَوْمَ الَّذِي يُشَكُّ فِيهِ فَقَدَ عَصٰى أَبَا الْقَاسِمِ ﷺ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالتِّرْمِذِىُّ وَالنَّسَائِىُّ وَابْنُ مَاجَهْ والدَّارِمِىُّ
On the authority of Ammar bin Yasser, may God be pleased with them both, he said: Whoever fasts on the day about which there is doubt has disobeyed Abu Al-Qasim, peace and blessings of God be upon him. Narrated by Abu Dawud, Al-Tirmidhi, Al-Nasa’i, Ibn Majah, and Al-Darimi.

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/1981
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ يَتَحَفَّظُ مِنْ شَعْبَانَ مَالَا يَتَحَفَّظُ مِنْ غَيْرِه. ثُمَّ يَصُومُ لِرُؤْيَةِ رَمَضَانَ فَإِنْ غُمَّ عَلَيْهِ عَدَّ ثَلَاثِينَ يَوْمًا ثُمَّ صَامَ. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ
On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, used to take precautions from Sha`ban that which he did not take from others. Then he fasts until Ramadan begins, and if it becomes cloudy, he counts thirty days and then fasts. Narrated by Abu Dawood

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/1983
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: كلوا سحراً. السهري بالتأكيد لديه بركات. (البخاري، مسلم)[1]
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: Eat Sahri. Sahri definitely has barakat. (Bukhari, Muslim)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/1984
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «إن الفرق بين صيامنا وصيام أهل الكتاب هو السحر». (مسلم)[1]
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: The difference between our fasting and those of the People of the Book (Jews and Christians) is Sahri. (Muslim)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/1987
قال: نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن صيام مكان واحد. فسأله أحدهم يا رسول الله! أنت تصوم في مكان واحد. فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: من مثلي فيكم؟ أقضي الليل على ما يطعمني ربي ويشبعني. (البخاري، مسلم)[1]
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam forbade bisal fasting (meaning fasting in one place). Then someone asked him, O Messenger of God! You fast in one place. The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Who among you is like me? I spend the night in such a way that my Lord feeds and satisfies me. (Bukhari, Muslim)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/1994
قال: كان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول بعد الإفطار: ذهب الظمأ، وانتعشت العروق. وإن شاء الله فقد ثبت الأجر. (أبو داود)[1]
He said, The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to say after breaking the fast, the thirst is gone, the veins (of the body) are refreshed. If Allah wills, the reward has been established. (Abu Dawud)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/1996
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: لا يزال الدين ظاهرا (ما أفطر الناس). لأن اليهود والنصارى يؤخرون الإفطار. (أبو داود، ابن ماجه) [١]
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: Deen will always prevail (as long as people break their fast). Because Jews and Christians delay breaking Iftar. (Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah) [1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/1997
قال: ذهبت أنا ومسروق (ذات يوم) إلى عائشة (رضي الله عنها) فصلينا يا أم المؤمنين! وكان لمحمد صلى الله عليه وسلم صاحبان. أحدهما يصوم الإفطار ويصوم يصلي. والثاني هو تأخير الإفطار وتأخير الصلاة. سألت عائشة (رضي الله عنها) من يعجل فيفطر ويصلي؟ قلنا: عبد الله بن مسعود. قالت عائشة رضي الله عنها: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يفعل هذا. والآخر الذي كان يؤخر الإفطار والصلاة هو أبو موسى. (مسلم)[1]
He said, I and Masrook both (one day) went to Aisha (RA) and we prayed, O Ummul Mu'minin! Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) had two companions. One of them fasts iftar, fast prays. And the second is late Iftar and late prayer. Aisha (R.A.) asked, who hastily breaks his fast and prays? We said, ``Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud. Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: The Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, used to do this. And the other The person who used to delay breaking the fast and praying was Abu Musa. (Muslim)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/1999
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «أفضل طعام المؤمنين التمر». (أبو داود)[1]
He said, Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: The best food for believers is dates. (Abu Dawud)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2000
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: من لم يدع الكذب والعمل به فليس له حاجة إلى الله في ترك الطعام والشراب. (البخاري)[1]
He said: The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: He who does not give up lying (while fasting) and acting upon it, has no need of Allah for giving up food and drink. (Bukhari)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2001
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: كَانَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ يُقَبِّلُ وَيُبَاشِرُ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ وَكَانَ أَمْلَكَكُمْ لِأَرْبِه. (مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ)
On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, used to kiss and greet people while he was fasting, and your king was his father. (agreed)

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2002
قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يظل نجسا حتى طلوع الفجر في شهر رمضان. هذه النجاسة ليست بسبب الحلم. ثم كان (عليه السلام) يغتسل ويصوم. (البخاري، مسلم[1]).
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam used to remain impure until dawn in the month of Ramadhan (Ramadan). This impurity is not due to dream. Then he (peace be upon him) used to bathe and fast. (Bukhari, Muslim[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2004
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: من نسي أن يأكل أو يشرب وهو صائم فليتم صيامه. لأن هذا الإطعام والشرب من عند الله. (البخاري، مسلم)[1]
He said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever forgets to eat or drink something while fasting, let him complete the fast. Because this feeding and drinking is from Allah. (Bukhari, Muslim)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2006
عَن عَائِشَة: أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ: كَانَ يُقَبِّلُهَا وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ وَيَمُصُّ لِسَانَهَا. رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ
On the authority of Aisha: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, used to kiss her while he was fasting and suck her tongue. Narrated by Abu Dawood

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2012
وَعَنْ بَعْضِ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِىِّ ﷺ قَالَ: لَقَدْ رَأَيْتُ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ بِالْعَرْجِ يَصُبُّ عَلٰى رَأْسِهِ الْمَاءَ وَهُوَ صَائِمٌ مِنَ الْعَطَشِ أَوْ مِنَ الْحَرِّ. رَوَاهُ مَالِكٌ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ
On the authority of some of the companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, he said: I saw the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, while he was crippled, pouring water on his head while he was fasting due to thirst or heat. Narrated by Malik and Abu Dawud

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2015
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «كثير من الصائمين لا يحصل لهم صيام إلا جوع». هناك العديد من شعب القيامرات (دانايامان) الذين ليست عباداتهم الليلية سوى نيشي جاغانار، ولا يمكنهم أن يؤتيوا أي ثمار. (الدارمي)[1]
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: There are many Sayyim who do not get any results from their fasting except that they remain hungry. There are many Qiyamrat (Dandayaman) people whose nightly 'Ibadat is nothing but Nishi Jaganar Can't bear any fruit. (Darimi)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2016
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: ثلاث لا يفطرن صائماً. سينجا والقيء والحلم. (الترمذي؛ قال: هذا الحديث لا يخلو من الأخطاء. وقال أحد رواته عبد الرحمن بن زيد عن الحديث: ضعيف.)[1]
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: Three things do not break the fast of Saim. Singa, Vomiting and Dreaming. (Tirmidhi; He said, this hadith is not free of errors. One of its narrators 'Abdur Rahman ibn Zayd about the hadith. considered weak.)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2017
وَعَنْ ثَابِتٍ الْبُنَانِيِّ قَالَ: سُئِلَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ: كُنْتُمْ تَكْرَهُونَ الْحِجَامَةَ لِلصَّائِمِ عَلٰى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللّٰهِ ﷺ؟ قَالَ: لَا إِلَّا مِنْ أَجْلِ الضَّعْفِ. رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِىُّ
On the authority of Thabit Al-Bunani, he said: Anas bin Malik was asked: Did you dislike cupping for the fasting person at the time of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace? He said: No, except for the sake of weakness. Narrated by Al-Bukhari

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2019
وقال إن الصائم يغسل الماء من فمه، وما بقي في فمه من لعاب أو بقايا ماء لا يضر الصائم. ولا ينبغي لأي شخص أن يمضغ العلكة. وإذا ابتلع عصيره بسبب المضغ، فأنا في حقه لم أقل أنه أفطر، بل نهى عنه. (البخاري - ترزمت الباب)[1]
He said that the Sayyim (fasting) person washes away the water from his mouth and the saliva or water residue left in his mouth will not harm the fast. And no person should chew chewing gum. If his juice is swallowed due to chewing, then in his case I am I did not say that he broke his fast, but that he was forbidden from it. (Bukhari - Tarzmat al-Bab)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2020
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: إِنَّ حَمْزَةَ بْنَ عَمْرٍو الْأَسْلَمِىَّ قَالَ لِلنَّبِىِّ ﷺ أَصُومُ فِى السَّفَرِ وَكَانَ كَثِيرَ الصِّيَامِ. فَقَالَ: «إِنْ شِئْتَ فَصُمْ وَإِنْ شِئْتَ فَأفْطِرْ». (مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ)
On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said: Hamza bin Amr Al-Aslami told the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, to fast while traveling, and he fasted a lot. He said: “If you want, then fast, and if you want, then break your fast.” (agreed)

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2021
قال: (ذات مرة) ذهبنا إلى حرب مع رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وسلم). وفي ذلك الوقت كان اليوم السادس عشر من شهر رمضان (رمضان) قد انقضى. (في هذا الوقت) بعضنا صام، وبعضنا لم يصوم. ولم يسيء الصيام إلى المفطرين، ولم يسيء المفطرون إلى الصائمين. (مسلم)[1]
He said, (Once) we went to war with the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him). At that time the sixteenth day of the month of Ramadan (Ramadan) had passed. (At this time) some of us fasted, and some did not. The Saiyim did not think bad of those who did not fast And people who were not fasting did not feel bad about the Sayyims. (Muslim)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2022
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ: كَانَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ فِىْ سَفَرٍ فَرَأَى زِحَامًا وَرَجُلًا قَدْ ظُلِّلَ عَلَيْهِ فَقَالَ: «مَا هٰذَا؟» قَالُوا: صَائِمٌ. فَقَالَ: «لَيْسَ مِنَ الْبِرِّ الصَّوْمُ فِى السَّفَرِ». (مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ)
On the authority of Jabir, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, was traveling and he saw a crowd and a man who was overshadowing him, and he said: “What is this?” They said: He is fasting. He said: “It is not righteous to fast while traveling.” (agreed)

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2024
فقال (عام فتح مكة) خرج رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من المدينة إلى مكة. وقد صام (صلى الله عليه وسلم) (في هذه الرحلة). فلما كان صلى الله عليه وسلم على غلوتين من مكة وصل إلى عسفان (مكان تاريخي) فجلب الماء. ثم أخذه بيده فرفعه عاليا جدا. حتى يتمكن الناس من رؤية الماء. ثم أفطر (عليه السلام). وبذلك وصل (عليه السلام) إلى مكة. وكانت هذه الزيارة في شهر رمضان (رمضان). وكان ابن عباس يقول: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يصوم في السفر ثم يفطر. فمن سره فليصوم (إذا لم يكن هناك مشقة). ولا تبقي من يرغب. (البخاري، مسلم)[1]
He said, (the year of the conquest of Makkah) the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, left Madinah for Makkah. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) fasted (on this trip). When he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was two furlongs from Makkah far) reached 'Usfan' (a historical place) and fetched water. Then he held it in his hand and raised it very high. So that people can see the water. Then he (peace be upon him) broke his fast. Thus he (peace be upon him) He reached Makkah. This visit took place in the month of Ramadan (Ramadan). Ibn 'Abbas used to say that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to fast during the journey and then broke it again. So whoever is happy should fast (if there is no hardship). And do not keep those who wish. (Bukhari, Muslim)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2027
وَعَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ الْمُحَبَّقِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ: «مَنْ كَانَ لَه حَمُولَةٌ تَأْوِىْ إِلٰى شِبْعٍ فَلْيَصُمْ رَمَضَانَ من حَيْثُ أدْرَكَهُ». رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ
On the authority of Salamah ibn al-Muhabbaq, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever has a burden that is sufficient to be satisfied, let him fast Ramadan from wherever he reaches it.” Narrated by Abu Dawood
34
Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2030
وَعَن حَمْزَة بن عَمْرِو الْأَسْلَمِيُّ أَنَّه قَالَ: يَا رَسُوْلَ اللّٰهِ إِنِّىْ أَجِدُ بِىْ قُوَّةً عَلَى الصِّيَامِ فِى السَّفَرِ فَهَلْ عَلَىَّ جُنَاحٌ؟ قَالَ: «هِىَ رُخْصَةٌ مِنَ اللّٰهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ فَمَنْ أَخَذَ بِهَا فَحَسَنٌ وَمَنْ أَحَبَّ أَنْ يَصُومَ فَلَا جُنَاحَ عَلَيْهِ». رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
On the authority of Hamza bin Amr Al-Aslami, he said: O Messenger of God, I find in myself the strength to fast while traveling, so is there any blame on me? He said: “It is a license from God Almighty, so whoever takes it will do well, and whoever loves to fast will not be held accountable.” Narrated by Muslim

عَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: كَانَ يَكُونُ عَلَىَّ الصَّوْمُ مِنْ رَمَضَانَ فَمَا أَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ أَقْضِىَ إِلَّا فِىْ شَعْبَانَ. قَالَ يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ: تَعْنِى الشُّغُلَ مِنَ النَّبِىِّ أَو بِالنَّبِىِّ ﷺ. (مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ)
On the authority of Aisha, she said: I used to have to fast during Ramadan, so I could not make up for it except in Sha`ban. Yahya bin Saeed said: It means work from the Prophet or the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him. (agreed)

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2032
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: لا تصوم امرأة عند زوجها إلا بإذنه. وكذلك لا ينبغي للمرأة أن تسمح لأحد بالدخول إلى البيت دون إذن زوجها. (مسلم) [1]
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: No woman should fast in the presence of her husband without his permission. Similarly, it is inappropriate for a woman to allow anyone to enter the house without her husband's permission. (Muslim) [1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2033
وسأل أم المؤمنين عائشة (رضي الله عنها) ما سبب صيام الحائض وعدم الصلاة؟ قالت عائشة رضي الله عنها: كنا نصوم على عهد رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا حاضت. لقد أمر بالقيام به. ولكن لم يؤمر بأداء صلاة القضاء. (مسلم)[1]
He asked Umm al-Mu'mininah 'A'ishah (ra), what is the reason for menstruating women to fast, but not to perform Salat? Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) said: During the lifetime of the Messenger of Allah (may peace be upon him), when we had our menses, we used to fast. It was ordered to do. But it was not ordered to perform Salat Qaza. (Muslim)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2034
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللّٰهُ عَنْهَا قَالَتْ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ: «مَنْ مَاتَ وَعَلَيْهِ صَوْمٌ صَامَ عَنْهُ وَلِيُّه». (مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ)
On the authority of Aisha, may God be pleased with her, she said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever dies and is obligated to fast, his guardian will fast on his behalf.” (agreed)

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2035
رواه عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم. قال صلى الله عليه وسلم: من مات وعليه الصيام، كان عنه كل صوم يطعم عنه مسكينا. (الترمذي، قال الإمام الترمذي: الصحيح في هذا الحديث أنه موقوف حتى ابن عمر. وهو قوله [أي لا قول رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم]).[1]
He narrated from the Prophet ﷺ. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: A person who dies while it was incumbent upon him to observe the fast, then on his behalf (to his heirs) every fast A poor person should be fed instead. (Tirmidhi; Imam Tirmidhi said, The correct thing about this hadith is that it is maquf until Ibn 'Umar. It is his saying [that is, not the saying of Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam]).[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2038
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ شَقِيقٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِعَائِشَةَ: أَكَانَ النَّبِىُّ ﷺ يَصُوْمُ شَهْرًا كُلَّه؟ قَالَ: مَا عَلِمْتُه صَامَ شَهْرًا كُلَّه إِلَّا رَمَضَانَ وَلَا أَفْطَرَه كُلَّه حَتّٰى يَصُومَ مِنْهُ حَتّٰى مَضٰى لِسَبِيْلِه. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
On the authority of Abdullah bin Shaqiq, he said: I said to Aisha: Did the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, fast for an entire month? He said: I have never known him to fast an entire month except Ramadan, and I would not break his fast for the entire month until he fasted from it until he went on his way. Narrated by Muslim

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2039
وعن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أنه (صلى الله عليه وسلم) سأل عمران أو غيره، وعمران يسمع، فقال (صلى الله عليه وسلم): يا فلان. والد الشخص! ألا تصوم آخر أيام شهر شعبان؟ ثم قال: لا. قال (صلى الله عليه وسلم): "سوف تصومان (في آخر رمضان)." (البخاري، مسلم)[1]
He narrated on the authority of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, that he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) asked `Imran or someone else, and ``Imran was listening, he (peace be upon him) said, O so-and-so. The father of the person! Do you not fast the last days of the month of Sha'ban? Then he said, no. He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: You will observe two fasts (at the end of Ramadan). (Bukhari, Muslim)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2040
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: أفضل الصيام بعد صيام شهر رمضان صيام عاشوراء في شهر الله المحرم. وأفضل الصلاة بعد الفريضة صلاة الليل (أي التهجد). (مسلم)[1]
He said: The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: The best fast after the fast of the month of Ramadan (Ramadan) is the fast of Ashura in the month of Allah, the month of Muharram. And the best prayer after the obligatory prayer is the night prayer (ie Tahajjud). (Muslim)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2041
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: مَا رَأَيْتُ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ يَتَحَرّٰى صِيَامَ يَوْمٍ فَضَّلَه عَلٰى غَيْرِه إِلَّا هٰذَا الْيَوْمَ: يَوْمَ عَاشُورَاءَ وَهٰذَا الشَّهْرُ يَعْنِىْ شَهْرَ رَمَضَان. (مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ)
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: I have not seen the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, seek to fast on a day that he preferred over any other day except this day: the day of Ashura and this. The month means the month of Ramadan. (agreed)
44
Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2042
قال، إذا صام رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يوم عاشوراء؛ وأمر بإبقاء الصحابة أيضا. فقال الصحابة يا رسول الله! هذا اليوم هو اليوم المهم جداً لليهود والمسيحيين! (وبما أننا نعارض اليهود والنصارى فإننا نساعدهم على مراعاة أهمية هذا اليوم بالصوم). فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: لئن بقيت إلى قابل فلا أصوم التاريخ أيضا. (مسلم)[1]
He said, when the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, fasted on the day of Ashura; And ordered to keep the Companions too. Companions said, O Messenger of God! This day is the day, which is very important to Jews and Christians! (And Since we oppose the Judeo-Christians, we are assisting them in observing the importance of this day by fasting). Then the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: If I am alive next year, then certainly not I will keep fast on the date as well. (Muslim)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2043
وَعَنْ أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ بِنْتِ الْحَارِثِ: أَنَّ نَاسًا تَمَارَوْا عِنْدَهَا يَوْمَ عَرَفَةَ فِىْ صِيَامِ رَسُولِ اللّٰهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ: هُوَ صَائِمٌ وَقَالَ بَعْضُهُمْ: لَيْسَ بِصَائِمٍ فَأَرْسَلْتُ إِلَيْهِ بِقَدَحِ لَبَنٍ وَهُوَ وَاقِفٌ عَلٰى بِعِيْرِه بِعَرَفَةَ فَشَرِبَه. (مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ)
And on the authority of Umm al-Fadl bint al-Harith: People disputed with her on the Day of Arafat about the fasting of the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, and some of them said: He is fasting. Some of them said: He is not fasting, so I sent him a cup of milk while he was standing on his camel at Arafat, and he drank it. (agreed)

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2044
قال: ما رأيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم صام قط في العصر (أي العقد الأول من شهر ذي الحجة). (مسلم)[1]
He said, I never saw the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, fast in 'Asr (i.e., the first decade of the month of Zil-Hajj). (Muslim)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2046
قال: سئل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن صيام يوم الاثنين؟ فقال (عليه السلام): ولدت في هذا اليوم. في مثل هذا اليوم أنزل علي (القرآن). (مسلم)[1]
He said, The Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, was asked about fasting on Monday. He (peace be upon him) said: I was born on this day. On this day (the Qur'an) was revealed to me. (Muslim)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2048
وروى هذا الحديث أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: من صام شهر رمضان. وبعد ذلك يصام الست من شهر شوال، فيحسب له صياماً. (مسلم)[1]
He narrated this hadith that the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: Whoever fasts the month of Ramadhan (Ramadan). After that he observes the six fasts of the month of Shawwal, then he will be counted as observing the fast. (Muslim)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2049
قال: نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن صيام عيد الفطر والأزهر. (البخاري، مسلم)[1]
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam prohibited fasting on Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azhar. (Bukhari, Muslim)[1]

قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: لا صيام يومين. عيد الفطر وعيد الأضحى. (البخاري، مسلم)[1]
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: There is no fasting for two days. Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Azha. (Bukhari, Muslim)[1]
