Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2110
عَنْ عُثْمَانَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ: «خَيْرُكُمْ مَنْ تَعْلَّمَ الْقُرْاٰنَ وَعَلَّمَه». رَوَاهُ البُخَارِىُّ
On the authority of Othman, who said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “The best of you is he who learns the Qur’an and teaches it.” Narrated by Al-Bukhari

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2111
وَعَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ: خَرَجَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ وَنَحْنُ فِى الصُّفَّةِ فَقَالَ: «أَيُّكُمْ يُحِبُّ أَنْ يَغْدُوَ كُلَّ يَوْم إِلٰى بُطْحَانَ أَو الْعَقِيْقَ فَيَأْتِىْ مِنْهُ بِنَاقَتَيْنِ كَوْمَاوَيْنِ فِىْ غَيْرِ إِثْمٍ وَلَا قَطْعِ رَحِمٍ» فَقُلْنَا يَا رَسُول الله نُحِبُّ ذٰلِكَ قَالَ: «أَفَلَا يَغْدُوْ أَحَدُكُمْ إِلَى الْمَسْجِدِ فَيَعْلَمُ أَوْ يَقْرَأُ اٰيَتَيْنِ مِنْ كِتَابِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ لَه مِنْ نَاقَتَيْنِ وَثَلَاثٍ خَيْرٌ لَه مِنْ ثَلَاثٍ وَأَرْبَعٍ خَيْرٌ لَه مِنْ أَرْبَعٍ وَمِنْ أَعْدَادِهِنَّ مِنَ الْإِبِلِ». رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
On the authority of Uqba bin Amir, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, came out while we were in Suffah and said: “Which of you would like to go out every morning to Buthan or… Aqeeq, and he brings from it two heaped she-camels, without sin or severing ties of kinship.” So we said, O Messenger of God, we would love that. He said: “Will it not come in the morning? One of you To the mosque and learn or read two verses from the Book of God is better for him than two she-camels and three are better for him than three and four are better for him than four and Their numbers are camels.” Narrated by Muslim

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2112
قال: فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «أيحب أحدكم أن يرجع إلى بيته فيأتي بثلاث نوق سمينة؟» قلنا: (يا رسول الله!) إنا لنعجبنا. ثم قال (عليه السلام): ثم يقرأون في الصلاة ثلاث آيات. فهذه الثلاث آيات خير له من ثلاث إبل سمان. (مسلم)[1]
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: Would any of you like to return to his home and get three fat pregnant she-camels? We said, (O Allah's Messenger!) We certainly like it. Then he (peace be upon him) said: Then they should recite three verses in prayer. These three verses are better for him than three fat pregnant camels. (Muslim)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2113
قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: من يعرف القرآن يكون صحبة السفراء الكرام الملائكة. ومن تعلم القرآن فاضطرب فيه وكان القرآن مؤلما له جائزتان له (البخاري ومسلم)[1]
Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam said: A person skilled in the study of the Qur'an will be the companion of the honorable scribes Malaikah (angels). And whoever studies the Qur'an and gets stuck in it and the Qur'an becomes painful for him, then his Two awards for (Bukhari, Muslim)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2114
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ: «لَا حَسَدَ إِلَّا عَلٰى اِثْنَيْنِ: رَجُلٌ اٰتَاهُ اللّٰهُ الْقُرْاٰنَ فَهُوَ يَقُومُ بِه اٰنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَاٰنَاءَ النَّهَارِ وَرَجُلٌ اٰتَاهُ اللّٰهُ مَالًا فَهُوَ يُنْفِقُ مِنْهُ اٰنَاءَ اللَّيْلِ وَاٰنَاءَ النَّهَارِ». (مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ)
On the authority of Ibn Umar, he said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: “There is no envy except for two: A man to whom God has given the Qur’an, and he performs it occasionally.” The night and the day, and a man to whom God has given wealth, and he spends from it the night and the day.” (agreed)

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2116
وَعَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ الْخَطَّابِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ: «إِنَّ اللهَ يَرْفَعُ بِهٰذَا الْكِتَابِ أَقْوَامًا وَيَضَعُ بِه اٰخَرِينَ. رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
On the authority of Omar Ibn Al-Khattab, he said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: “Indeed, God raises people up with this book and humbles others with it. Narrated by Muslim

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2122
وَعَنِ النَّوَّاسِ بْنِ سَمْعَانَ قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ: «يُؤْتٰى بِالْقُرْاٰنِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ وَأَهْلِهِ الَّذِينَ كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ بِه تَقْدُمُه سُورَةُ الْبَقَرَةِ وَاٰلُ عِمْرَانَ كَأَنَّهُمَا غَمَامَتَانِ أَوْ ظُلَّتَانِ سَوْدَاوَانِ بَيْنَهُمَا شَرْقٌ أَوْ كَأَنَّهُمَا فِرْقَانِ مِنْ طَيْرٍ صَوَافَّ تُحَاجَّانِ عَنْ صَاحِبِهِمَا». رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
On the authority of Al-Nawwas bin Sam’an, he said: I heard the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, say: “The Qur’an will be brought on the Day of Resurrection and its people who used to act upon it.” Introduction to Surat Al-Baqarah and Al Imran as if they were two clouds or two black shadows with the east between them, or as if they were two flocks of birds in flight. They are separated from their owner.” Narrated by Muslim

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2125
وَعَنْ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: بَيْنَمَا جِبْرِيلُ قَاعِدٌ عِنْدَ النَّبِىِّ ﷺ سَمِعَ نَقِيضًا مِنْ فَوْقِه فَرَفَعَ رَأْسَه فَقَالَ: «هٰذَا بَابٌ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ فُتِحَ الْيَوْمَ لَمْ يُفْتَحْ قَطُّ إِلَّا الْيَوْمَ فَنَزَلَ مِنْهُ مَلَكٌ فَقَالَ هٰذَا مَلَكٌ نَزَلَ إِلَى الْأَرْضِ لَمْ يَنْزِلْ قَطُّ إِلَّا الْيَوْمَ فَسَلَّمَ وَقَالَ أَبْشِرْ بِنُورَيْنِ أُوتِيتَهُمَا لَمْ يُؤْتَهُمَا نَبِىٌّ قَبْلَكَ فَاتِحَةُ الْكِتَابِ وَخَوَاتِيمُ سُورَةِ الْبَقَرَةِ لَنْ تَقْرَأَ بِحَرْفٍ مِنْهُمَا إِلَّا أَعْطَيْتُه». رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: While Gabriel was sitting with the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, he heard something from above him, so he raised his head and said: “This is a door from heaven that has been opened.” Today, it has never been opened except today, and an angel descended from it and said, “This is an angel who has descended to the earth. It has never descended before today, so he greeted me and said.” Receive good tidings of two lights that you have been given that no prophet was given before you: the opening of the Book and the endings of Surat Al-Baqarah. You will not be read with a letter of them except I gave it to him.” Narrated by Muslim

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2126
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: من قرأ الآيتين من آخر سورة البقرة في ليلة - يعني: "آمن الرسول" - من آخرهما كفتاه. (البخاري، مسلم)[1]
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: Whoever recites the last two verses of Surah Al-Baqarah at night, i.e.- 'A-Mana Rasul' to the end, that will be sufficient for him. (Bukhari, Muslim)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2127
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: من حفظ عشر آيات من أول سورة الكهف عصم من شر الدجال. (مسلم)[1]
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: Whoever memorizes the first ten verses of Surah Al Kahf will be protected from the evil of Dajjal. (Muslim)[1]

الحديث رواه أبو سعيد.[1]
The hadith was narrated by Abu Sa'eed.[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2130
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ: أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ بَعَثَ رَجُلًا عَلٰى سَرِيَّةٍ وَكَانَ يَقْرَأُ لأَصْحَابِه فِىْ صَلَاتِهِمْ فِيَخْتِمُ بِـ ﴿قُلْ هُوَ اللّٰهُ أَحَدٌ﴾. فَلَمَّا رَجَعُوا ذَكَرُوا ذٰلِكَ لِلنَّبِىِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ: «سَلُوهُ لِأَىِّ شَىْءٍ يَصْنَعُ ذٰلِكَ» فَسَأَلُوهُ فَقَالَ لِأَنَّهَا صِفَةُ الرَّحْمٰنِ وَأَنَا أَحَبُّ أَنْ أَقرَأَ هَا. فَقَالَ النَّبِىُّ ﷺ: «أَخْبِرُوهُ أَنَّ اللهَ يُحِبُّه». (مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ)
On the authority of Aisha: The Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, sent a man with a convoy, and he used to read to his companions during their prayers, concluding with, “Say, He is God.” Sunday. When they returned, they mentioned that to the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, and he said: “Ask him why he does that.” So they asked him, and he said, “Because it is an attribute of the Most Gracious, and I am I like to read Ha. The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: “Tell him that God loves him.” (agreed)

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2134
عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمٰنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ عَنِ النَّبِىِّ ﷺ قَالَ: «ثَلَاثَةٌ تَحْتَ الْعَرْشِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ الْقُرْاٰنُ يُحَاجُّ الْعِبَادَ لَه ظَهْرٌ وَبَطْنٌ وَالْأَمَانَةُ وَالرَّحِمُ تُنَادِىْ: أَلَا مَنْ وَصَلَنِىْ وَصَلَهُ اللّٰهُ وَمَنْ قَطَعَنِىْ قَطَعَهُ اللّٰهُ». رَوَاهُ فِىْ شَرْحِ السُّنَّةِ
On the authority of Abd al-Rahman ibn Awf, on the authority of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: “There will be three under the Throne on the Day of Resurrection. The servants will debate the Qur’an at noon. And the womb, the trustworthiness, and the kinship call out: “Whoever joins me, God will keep him connected, and whoever cuts me off, God will cut him off.” He narrated it in Sharh al-Sunnah

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2136
قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: البطن بدون القرآن كالبيت الخراب. (الترمذي والدارمي، قال الإمام الترمذي، الحديث صحيح) [1]
Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: A stomach without the Qur'an is like an empty (ruined) house. (Tirmidhi and Darimi; Imam Tirmidhi said, the hadith is Sahih) [1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2138
وَعَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ: «مَنْ قَرَأَ حَرْفًا مِنْ كِتَابِ اللّٰهِ فَلَه بِه حَسَنَةٌ وَالْحَسَنَةُ بِعَشْرِ أَمْثَالِهَا لَا أَقُولُ: اَلٓمٓ حَرْفٌ. أَلْفٌ حَرْفٌ وَلَامٌ حَرْفٌ وَمِيمٌ حَرْفٌ». رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِىُّ وَالدَّارِمِىُّ وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِىُّ هٰذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ صَحِيحٌ غَرِيْبٌ إِسْنَادًا
On the authority of Ibn Masoud, he said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: “Whoever reads a letter from the Book of God will have a good deed for it, and a good deed will be rewarded ten times as much. I say: Pain is a letter. Alif is a letter, Laam is a letter, and Meem is a letter. It was narrated by Al-Tirmidhi and Al-Darimi, and Al-Tirmidhi said: This is a hasan, authentic, and strange hadith. Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2140
وَعَن معَاذ الْجُهَنِىِّ: أَنَّ رَسُوْلَ اللّٰهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «مَنْ قَرَأَ الْقُرْاٰنَ وَعَمِلَ بِمَا فِيهِ أُلْبِسَ وَالِدَاهُ تَاجًا يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ ضَوْءُه أَحْسَنُ مِنْ ضَوْءِ الشَّمْسِ فِىْ بُيُوتِ الدُّنْيَا لَوْ كَانَتْ فِيكُمْ فَمَا ظَنُّكُمْ بِالَّذِىْ عَمِلَ بِهٰذَا؟». رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَأَبُوْ دَاوُدَ
On the authority of Moaz Al-Juhani: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever reads the Qur’an and acts according to what it contains, his parents will be clothed with a crown on the Day of Resurrection whose light will shine.” It is better than the light of the sun in the homes of this world, if it were among you, so what do you think of the one who did this?” Narrated by Ahmed and Abu Dawood

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2141
قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: «المصحف إذا لف في أدم وأضرم في النار لم يحترق». (الدارمي)[1]
He said, I heard the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, say that if the Qur'an is wrapped in leather and set on fire, it will not burn. (Darimi)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2142
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: من قرأ القرآن وحفظه، فيحل حلاله ويحرم حرامه، أدخله الله الجنة. وتقبل وصيته لعشرة من أهل بيته، كلهم على يقين بالجحيم. (أحمد والترمذي وابن ماجه والدارمي. لكن الإمام الترمذي قال هذا حديث ضعيف. أحد رواته حفص بن سليمان ضعيف في رواية الحديث).[1]
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: Whoever reads the Qur'an and memorizes it, and considers its halal as halal and its forbidden as haraam, Allah will admit him to Paradise. His recommendation is accepted for ten such persons in his family Do, all of whom were sure of hell. (Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Ibn Majah and Darimi. But Imam Tirmidhi said, this hadith is poor. One of its narrators, Hafs Ibn Sulayman, is weak in narration of the hadith.)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2143
قال: سأل رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم أبي بن كعب كيف تقرأ القرآن في الصلاة؟ وردا على ذلك، قرأ أبي بن كعب سورة الفاتحة على رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم. (قراءته قال صلى الله عليه وسلم: والذي نفسي بيده، ما نزلت سورة في التوراة ولا الإنجيل ولا جابور ولا الفرقان مثلها). هذه السورة هي سبيل المسني (مكرر سبع آيات) والقرآن العظيم. هذا أعطيتني. (الترمذي. قال هذا حديث حسن صحيح. روى الدارمي أنه لا سورة نزلت مثلها ولم يذكر في روايته خاتمة الحديث وحادثة أبي المذكورة آنفاً)[1] .
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam once asked Ubai Ibn Ka'b, how do you read the Qur'an in prayer? In response, Ubai ibn Ka'b read Surah Al-Fatihah to the Messenger of Allah, may God's prayers and peace be upon him. (His reading He (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said, By Allah, in Whose hand is my life! No surah like it was revealed in the Torah, Injil, Jabur or Furqan (nor in any other surah of the Qur'an). This Surah is Sabul Masani (repeated seven verses) and the Great Quran. this It was given to me. (Tirmidhi. He said, this hadith is hasan and sahih. Darimi narrated that no surah like it was revealed. In his narration, the end of the hadith and the incident of Ubai mentioned above are not mentioned.)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2145
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: من قرأ سورة المؤمن "إليه المصير" وآية الكرسي في الصباح، حفظ في حفظتها حتى يمسي. ومن قرأه في المساء حفظه حتى الصباح - (الترمذي والدارمي. لكن الإمام الترمذي يقول الحديث ضعيف.) [1]
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: Whoever recites Surah Ha-Meem "Al Mu'min..... Ilayhil Masir" and Ayatul Kursi in the morning, he will be kept in Hifazat in its blessings until evening. And whoever reads it in the evening He will be kept safe until the morning - (Tirmidhi and Darimi. But Imam Tirmidhi says, the hadith is poor.) [1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2146
وَعَنِ النُّعْمَانِ بْنِ بَشِيرٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ: «إِنَّ اللّٰهَ كَتَبَ كِتَابًا قَبْلَ أَنْ يَخْلُقَ السَّمَوَاتِ وَالْأَرْضَ بِأَلْفَىْ عَامٍ أَنْزَلَ مِنْهُ اٰيَتَيْنِ خَتَمَ بِهِمَا سُورَةَ الْبَقَرَةِ وَلَا تُقْرَاٰنِ فِىْ دَارٍ ثَلَاثَ لَيَالٍ فَيَقْرَبَهَا الشَّيْطَانُ». رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِىُّ وَالدَّارِمِىُّ وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِىُّ: هٰذَا حَدِيثٌ غَرِيْبٌ
On the authority of Al-Numan bin Bashir, he said: The Messenger of God, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: “Indeed, God wrote a book two thousand years before He created the heavens and the earth.” He sent down from it two verses with which He concluded Surah Al-Baqarah. And do not recite it in any house for three nights, lest Satan approach it.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi Al-Darimi and Al-Tirmidhi said: This is a strange hadith.

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2147
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: من قرأ ثلاث آيات من أول سورة الكهف عصم من فتنة الدجال. (الترمذي. وقال: هذا حديث حسن صحيح.) [1]
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: Whoever recites the first three verses of Surah Al-Kahf, he will be protected from the fitnah of Dajjal. (Tirmidhi. He said, this hadith is hasan and sahih.) [1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2148
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: لكل شيء كلاب. "كلاب" القرآن هو "سورة ياسين". ومن قرأ هذه السورة مرة واحدة كتب الله تعالى له ثواب قراءة القرآن عشر مرات بما قرأه مرة واحدة. (الترمذي، الدارمي. ووصف الإمام الترمذي هذا الحديث بالفقير.)[1]
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: Every thing has a 'Kalab' (heart). The 'Kalab' of the Quran is 'Surah Yasin'. Whoever recites this Surah once, Allah Ta'ala will write for him the reward of reciting the Qur'an ten times for reciting it once. (Tirmidhi, Darimi. Imam Tirmidhi called this hadith poor.)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2151
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: من قرأ سورة حم والدخان في ليلة الجمعة غفر له. (الترمذي. وقال: هذا حديث ضعيف. ويقال أن حبره أبو المقدام هشام ضعيف.) [1]
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: Whoever recites Surah Ha-Meem ad Dukha-n on the night of Friday will be forgiven. (Tirmidhi. He said, this hadith is poor. Its Rabbi Abul Miqdam Hisham is said to be weak.) [1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2153
رواه خالد بن معدان (رضي الله عنه) حديثا. وقال الإمام الترمذي، الحديث حسن غريب.[1]
Narrated by Khalid Ibn Ma'dan (RA) as a hadith. Imam Tirmidhi said, the hadith is Hasan Garib.[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2154
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «إن سورة في القرآن عددها ثلاثون آية، شفعت لرجل». ونتيجة لذلك، تم العفو عنه. تلك السورة هي "طابا رقلاجي بيدحل الملك". (أحمد والترمذي وأبو داود والنسائي وابن ماجه[1])
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: There is a surah in the Qur'an of thirty verses, which intercedes for a person. As a result, he was pardoned. That Surah is, 'Taba-Raqallaji Biyadihil Mulk'. (Ahmad, Tirmidhi, Abu Dawood, Nasa'i and Ibn Majah[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2155
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ: ضَرَبَ بَعْضُ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِىِّ ﷺ خِبَاءَه عَلٰى قَبْرٍ وَهُوَ لَا يَحْسَبُ أَنَّه قَبْرٌ فَإِذَا فِيهِ إِنْسَان يَقْرَأُ سُوْرَةَ ﴿تَبَارَكَ الَّذِىْ بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ﴾ حَتّٰى خَتَمَهَا فَأَتَى النَّبِىَّ ﷺ فَأَخْبَرَه فَقَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ: «هِيَ الْمَانِعَةُ هِيَ الْمُنْجِيَةُ تُنْجِيهِ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْر». رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِىُّ وَقَالَ: هٰذَا حَدِيْثٌ غَرِيْبٌ
On the authority of Ibn Abbas, he said: Some of the companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, knocked on his grave on a grave, not thinking that it was a grave, and then there was a person reciting in it. Surah “Blessed is He in whose hand is the kingdom” until he concluded it. Then he came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and informed him. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “It is the thing that prevents it.” The savior saves him From the torment of the grave.” Al-Tirmidhi narrated it and said: This is a strange hadith.

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2156
وَعَنْ جَابِرٍ أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ كَانَ لَا يَنَامُ حَتّٰى يَقْرَأَ: ﴿الٓمٓ تَنْزِيْلُ﴾ وَ ﴿تَبَارَكَ الَّذِىْ بِيَدِهِ الْمُلْكُ﴾ رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالتِّرْمِذِىُّ وَالدَّارِمِىُّ. وَقَالَ التِّرْمِذِىُّ: هٰذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ. وَكَذَا فِىْ شَرْحِ السُّنَّةِ. وَفِى الْمَصَابِيْحِ : غَرِيْبٌ
And on the authority of Jabir that the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, would not sleep until he recited: “The Messenger of God” and “Blessed is He in whose hand is the dominion” narrated by him. وكلاهما قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: (في الثواب) سورة عز ذو الزيلات تعدل نصف القرآن، وقل هو أحد تعدل الثلث، وقل يا أيهال كا فرعون تعدل الربع. (الترمذي)[1]
Both of them said that the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: (In terms of rewards) Surah Iza-Zul-Zilaat is equal to half of the Qur'an, Qul Huwall-hu Ahad is equal to one-third (of the Qur'an), and Qul Ya-Ayuhal Ka-Firoon is equal to one-fourth. (Tirmidhi)[1]

قال: سمع النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم رجلاً يقرأ: «قل هو أحد» فقال: «صدقت». سمعت، فقلت: ما ثبت (يا رسول الله)؟ قال (صلى الله عليه وسلم): «الجنة». (مالك والترمذي والنسائي)[1]
He said, The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) heard a man reciting 'Qul Huwall-hu Ahad' and said, "It has been confirmed." I heard and said, "What has been confirmed (O Messenger of Allah)?" He (may peace be upon him) said, "Paradise". (Malik, Tirmidhi and Nasa'i)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2162
وَعَنْ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ: أَنَّه قَالَ: يَا رَسُوْلَ اللّٰهِ عَلِّمْنِىْ شَيْئًا أَقُولُه إِذَا أَوَيْتُ إِلٰى فِرَاشِىْ. فَقَالَ: «اقْرَأْ ﴿قُلْ يٰاَ أَيُّهَا الْكٰفِرُوْنَ﴾ فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ». رَوَاهُ التِّرْمِذِىُّ وَأَبُو دَاوُدَ وَالدَّارِمِىُّ
On the authority of Farwa bin Nawfal, on the authority of his father: He said: O Messenger of God, teach me something that I should say when I go to bed. He said: “Recite ‘Say, O disbelievers’, for it is an acquittal of polytheism.” Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, Abu Dawud, and Al-Darimi

وَعَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ: بَيْنَا أَنَا أَسِيْرُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللّٰهِ ﷺ بَيْنَ الْجُحْفَةِ وَالْأَبْوَاءِ إِذْ غَشِيَتْنَا رِيحٌ وَظُلْمَةٌ شَدِيدَةٌ فَجَعَلَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ يُعَوِّذُ ب ﴿أَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ﴾ وَ ﴿أَعُوْذُ بِرَبِّ النَّاسِ﴾ وَيَقُولُ: «يَا عُقْبَةُ تَعَوَّذْ بِهِمَا فَمَا تَعَوَّذَ مُتَعَوِّذٌ بِمِثْلِهِمَا». رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ
On the authority of Uqba bin Amir, he said: While I was walking with the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, between Al-Jufah and Al-Abwa’, a strong wind and darkness enveloped us. So the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, began to seek refuge with “I seek refuge in the Lord of creation” and “I seek refuge in the Lord of people” and said: “O Uqba, seek refuge in them, for what Exorcist exorcist بِمِثْلِهِمَا». Narrated by Abu Dawood

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2165
وَعَنْ عُقْبَةَ بْنِ عَامِرٍ قَالَ: قُلْتُ يَا رَسُوْلَ اللّٰهِ أَقْرَأُ سُورَةَ (هُودٍ) أَوْ سُورَةَ (يُوسُفَ)؟ قَالَ: لَنْ تَقْرَأَ شَيْئًا أَبْلَغَ عِنْدَ اللّٰهِ مِنْ ﴿قُلْ أَعُوذُ بِرَبِّ الْفَلَقِ﴾ رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ وَالنَّسَائِيّ والدَّارِمِىُّ
On the authority of Uqba bin Amir, he said: I said, O Messenger of God, should I recite Surah Hud or Surah Yusuf? He said: You will not read anything more eloquent in the sight of God than “Say, I seek refuge in the Lord of Creation.” Narrated by Ahmad, Al-Nasa’i and Al-Darimi.

وَعَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ مُرْسَلًا قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ: «فِىْ فَاتِحَةِ الْكِتَابِ شِفَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ». رَوَاهُ الدَّارِمِىُّ وَالْبَيْهَقِىُّ فِىْ شُعَبِ الْإِيْمَانِ
On the authority of Abd al-Malik ibn Umair, on the authority of a mursal, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “In the opening of the Book there is a cure for every disease.” Narrated by Al-Darimi and Al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab Al-Iman

وقال: «من قرأ سورة آل عمران في يوم الجمعة، لم تزل الملائكة تصلي عليه حتى الليل». (الدارمي)[1]
He said, "Whoever recites Surah Al-Imran on Friday, the Malaikah (angels) will continue to pray for him until the night." (Darimi)[1]

وَعَن جُبَيْرِ بْنِ نُفَيْرٍ أَنَّ رَسُوْلَ اللّٰهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «إِنَّ اللّٰهَ خَتَمَ سُورَةَ الْبَقَرَةِ بِاٰيَتَيْنِ أُعْطِيتُهُمَا مِنْ كَنْزِهِ الَّذِىْ تَحْتَ الْعَرْشِ فَتَعَلَّمُوْهُنَّ وَعَلِّمُوهُنَّ نِسَاءَكُمْ فَإِنَّهَا صَلَاةٌ وَقُرْبَانُ وَدُعَاءٌ». رَوَاهُ الدِّرَامِىُّ مُرْسَلًا
On the authority of Jubayr bin Nufayr, that the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Indeed, God concluded Surat Al-Baqarah with two verses that I gave them from His treasure that is beneath The Throne, learn them and teach them to your women, for it is a prayer, an offering, and a supplication.” Narrated by Al-Daraami mursal

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2177
وَعَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ قَالَ: اِقْرَؤُوْا الْمُنْجِيَةِ وَهِىَ ﴿الٓمٓ تَنْزِيْلُ﴾ فَإِن بَلَغَنِىْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا كَانَ يَقْرَؤُهَا مَا يَقْرَأُ شَيْئًا غَيْرَهَا وَكَانَ كَثِيرَ الْخَطَايَا فَنَشَرَتْ جَنَاحَهَا عَلَيْهِ قَالَتْ: رَبِّ اغْفِرْ لَه فَإِنَّه كَانَ يُكْثِرُ قِرَاءَتِى فَشَفَّعَهَا الرَّبُّ تَعَالٰى فِيهِ وَقَالَ: اَكْتُبُوْا لَه بِكُلِّ خَطِيئَةٍ حَسَنَةٍ وَارْفَعُوْا لَه دَرَجَةً.\nوَقَالَ أَيْضًا: «إِنَّهَا تُجَادِلُ عَنْ صَاحِبِهَا فِى الْقَبْرِ تَقُولُ: اَللّٰهُمَّ إِنْ كُنْتُ مِنْ كِتَابِكَ فَشَفِّعْنِىْ فِيهِ وَإِنْ لَمْ أَكُنْ مِنْ كِتَابِكَ فَامْحُنِىْ عَنْهُ وَإِنَّهَا تَكُونُ كَالطَّيْرِ تَجْعَلُ جَنَاحَهَا عَلَيْهِ فَتَشْفَعُ لَه فَتَمْنَعُه مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ» وَقَالَ فِىْ ﴿تَبَارَكَ﴾ مِثْلَه. وَكَانَ خَالِدٌ لَا يَبِيْتُ حَتّٰى يَقْرَأَهُمَا.\nوَقَالَ طَاوُوسُ: فُضِّلَتَا عَلٰى كُلِّ سُوْرَةٍ فِى الْقُرْاٰنِ بِسِتِّينَ حَسَنَةً. رَوَاهُ الدَّارِمِىُّ
On the authority of Khalid bin Ma’dan, he said: Recite Al-Munjiyah, which is “Al-Ma’man Tanzil.” For I have heard that a man was reciting it. He recited something other than her, and he had committed many sins, so she spread her wings over him and said: My Lord, forgive him, for he used to recite a lot, so the Lord interceded for her. Almighty in it And he said: Write down a good deed for him for every sin and raise him in rank.\nAnd he also said: “It speaks about its companion in the grave, saying: Oh God, if I am from your book, then make me intercede on it, and if I am not from your book, then forgive me for it. And she will be like a bird spreading its wings. On him So intercede for him and protect him from the torment of the grave.” And he said the same in “Blessed.” Khaled did not stay overnight until he had read them. Tawoos said: They are superior to every surah in the Qur’an with sixty good deeds. Narrated by Al-Darimi

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2179
قال: قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: من قرأ سورة ياسين فقط ابتغاء وجه الله، غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه. فاقرأ هذه السورة على من هو على وشك الموت. (البيهقي – شعب الإيمان) [1]
He said, The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever recites Surah Yasin only for the sake of Allah's pleasure, his previous sins will be forgiven. So recite this surah to those who are about to die. (Bayhaqvi - Shu'abul Iman) [1]

ويقول: كل كائن له قمة. ذروة القرآن هي سورة البقرة. كل كائن له "جوهر". جوهر القرآن هو سور المفصل. (الدارمي)[1]
He says, every object has an apex. The apex of the Quran is Surah Al-Baqarah. Every object has an 'essence'. The essence of the Quran is the Mufassal Surahs. (Darimi)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2181
قال سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: لكل شيء جمال. جمال القرآن سورة الرحمن. (رواه الإمام البيهقي في شعب الإيمان)[١]
He said, I heard the Messenger of Allah, may God bless him and grant him peace, say, Every thing has beauty. The beauty of the Quran is Surah Ar Rahman. (Narrated by Imam Bayhaqi in Shu'abul Iman)[1]

وَعَنِ ابْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ: «مَنْ قَرَأَ سُورَةَ الْوَاقِعَةِ فِىْ كُلِّ لَيْلَةٍ لَمْ تُصِبْهُ فَاقَةٌ أَبَدًا». وَكَانَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ يَأْمُرُ بَنَاتَه يَقْرَأْنَ بهَا فِىْ كُلِّ لَيْلَةٍ. رَوَاهُ الْبَيْهَقِىُّ فِىْ شُعَبِ الْإِيْمَانِ
On the authority of Ibn Masoud, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Whoever recites Surah Al-Waqi’ah every night will never be afflicted with poverty.” Ibn Masoud used to order his daughters to recite it every night. Narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab Al-Iman

قال: جاء رجل إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فقال: يا رسول الله! علمني شيئا فقال ستقرأ ثلاث سور من السور الكاملة من الألف لا مارا. فقال ذلك الرجل يا رسول الله! أنا كبير في السن، "وعائي" صلب و"لساني" متصلب (أي - لا أحفظ). ثم قال صلى الله عليه وسلم: ثم تقرأ ثلاث سور بين السور مع الحميم. مرة أخرى أجاب الشخص كما كان من قبل. ثم قال يا رسول الله! ما عليك فعله هو الحصول على بطاقة الائتمان الخاصة بك خامسا. ثم قرأ عليه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم سورة العز الزلزلة حتى ختمها. فقال الرجل: والذي بعثك بالنبي الحق لا أزيد على السورة شيئا بعد ذلك. ثم غادر الرجل من هناك. فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: «أفلح الرجل، أفلح الرجل». (أحمد وأبو داود)[1]
Said, A person came to the Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, and said, O Messenger of God! teach me something He said, three surahs will be recited from the complete surahs of alif la-ma-ra. That person said, O Messenger of God! i am old my "pot" Hard and 'tongue' hardened (ie - I don't memorize). Then he (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Then you will recite three surahs between the surahs with Ha-Meem. Again the person replied as before. Then he said, O Messenger of God! আমাকে আপনি পরিপূর্ণ অর্থবহ একটি সূরা শিখিয়ে দিন। Rasulullah sallallahu alayhi wasallam then recited to him 'Surah Iza-Zulzilat' till the end. Then the man said, By Him who sent you as a true prophet, I (your teaching) Never add anything to the surah again. Then the man left from there. At that time the Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said, "The man succeeded, the man succeeded." (Ahmad and Abu Dawud)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2185
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ: «أَلَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ أَلْفَ اٰيَةٍ فِىْ كُلِّ يَوْمٍ؟» قَالُوا: وَمَنْ يَسْتَطِيعُ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ أَلْفَ اٰيَةٍ فِىْ كُلِّ يَوْمٍ؟ قَالَ: أَمَا يَسْتَطِيعُ أَحَدُكُمْ أَنْ يَقْرَأَ: ﴿أَلْهَاكُمُ التَّكَاثُرُ﴾ رَوَاهُ الْبَيْهَقِىُّ فِىْ شُعَبِ الْإِيْمَانِ
On the authority of Ibn Omar, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “Isn’t one of you able to recite a thousand verses every day?” They said: Who can recite a thousand verses every day? He said: Isn’t one of you able to recite: “You have been distracted by multiplication?” Narrated by Al-Bayhaqi in Shu’ab Al-Iman

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2186
وَعَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ مُرْسَلًا عَنِ النَّبِىِّ ﷺ قَالَ: «مَنْ قَرَأَ ﴿قُلْ هُوَ اللهُ أَحَدٌ﴾ عَشَرَ مَرَّاتٍ بُنِىَ لَه بِهَا قَصْرٌ فِى الْجَنَّةِ وَمَنْ قَرَأَ عِشْرِينَ مَرَّةً بُنِىَ لَه بِهَا قَصْرَانِ فِى الْجَنَّةِ وَمَنْ قَرَأَهَا ثَلَاثِينَ مَرَّةً بُنِىَ لَه بِهَا ثَلَاثَةُ قُصُورٍ فِى الْجَنَّةِ». فَقَالَ عُمَرُ بْنُ الْخَطَّابِ : وَاللّٰهِ يَا رَسُوْلَ اللّٰهِ إِذَا لَنُكَثِّرَنَّ قُصُورَنَا. فَقَالَ رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ: «اللّٰهُ أَوْسَعُ مِنْ ذٰلِكَ». رَوَاهُ الدَّارِمِىُّ
On the authority of Saeed bin Al-Musayyab, on the authority of the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, he said: “Whoever recites “Say, ‘He is God, One’” ten times, a palace will be built for him in Paradise. Whoever recites it twenty times, two palaces will be built for him in Paradise, and whoever recites it thirty times, three palaces will be built for him in Paradise.” Omar said Ibn Al-Khattab: By God, O Messenger of God, then we will multiply our palaces. The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said: “God is more expansive than that.” Narrated by Al-Darimi

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2187
قال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: من قرأ في ليلة مائة آية لم يرفع القرآن عليه في تلك الليلة شيئاً. ومن قرأ مائتي آية في ليلة كتب له ثواب ليلة واحدة. وأن من قرأ في الليل من خمسمائة إلى ألف آية كان له أجر كنتوار واحدة إذا استيقظ في الصباح. سألوا يا رسول الله! ما هو "kintwar"؟ قال (عليه السلام): وزن اثني عشر ألف دينار. (الدارمي)[1]
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever recites a hundred verses (of the Qur'an) at night, the Qur'an will not raise any charges against him that night. And whoever recites two hundred verses at night, the reward of one night's worship will be written for him. And that If a person recites from five hundred to one thousand verses at night, he will get the reward of one 'Kintwar' when he wakes up in the morning. They asked, O Messenger of God! What is a 'kintwar'? He (peace be upon him) replied, A weight equal to twelve thousand dinars. (Darimi)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2190
وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ أَنَّ النَّبِىَّ ﷺ قَالَ: إِنَّمَا مَثَلُ صَاحِبِ الْقُرْاٰنِ كَمَثَلِ صَاحِبِ الْإِبِلِ الْمُعَقَّلَةِ إِنْ عَاهَدَ عَلَيْهَا أَمْسَكَهَا وَإِنْ أَطْلَقَهَا ذَهَبَتْ. (مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ)
On the authority of Ibn Umar, the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, said: The likeness of the one who has recited the Qur’an is like the one with hamstred camels, if he covenants with them, he will keep them, even if He released her and she was gone. (agreed)

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2191
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: اقرؤوا القرآن على القلب. وإذا تغير المزاج، أي إذا نقصت الفائدة فإنه يتركها. (البخاري، مسلم)[1]
He said, Rasulullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: Read the Qur'an as long as the heart is attracted. If the mood changes i.e. if the interest decreases it will leave it. (Bukhari, Muslim)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2192
قال: سئل أنس رضي الله عنه كيف كانت قراءة النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم القرآن؟ قال: كانت تلاوته للقرآن متواصلة. ثم قرأ [أنس (رضي الله عنه)] بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم. هو "بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم". سحب "رحمة نير" وسحب "رحيم". (البخاري)[1]
He said, once Anas (RA) was asked, how was the recitation of the Qur'an by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him)? He said, his recitation of the Qur'an was continuous. Then he [Anas (RA)] recited 'Bismilla-hir Rahma-nir Rahim'. He is 'Bismilla-hi'. pulled Pulled 'Rahma-Nir' and pulled on 'Rahim'. (Bukhari)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2193
قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: "إن الله يستمع لقراءة النبي من القرآن كما لا يستمع الله من حديث". (البخاري، مسلم)[1]
He said, Rasoolullah Sallallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: Allah listens to the recitation of the Qur'an by a Prophet as much as Allah does not listen to any speech. (Bukhari, Muslim)[1]

Mishkatul Masabih # 0/2196
وَعَنْ عَبْدِ اللّٰهِ بْنِ مَسْعُودٍ قَالَ: قَالَ لِي رَسُوْلُ اللّٰهِ ﷺ وَهُوَ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ: «اقْرَأْ عَلَىَّ». قُلْتُ: أَقْرَأُ عَلَيْكَ وَعَلَيْكَ أُنْزِلَ؟ قَالَ: «إِنِّىْ أُحِبُّ أَنْ أَسْمَعَهُ مِنْ غَيْرِىْ». فَقَرَأْتُ سُورَةَ النِّسَاءِ حَتَّى اتَيْتُ إِلٰى هٰذِهِ الْاٰيَةِ (فَكَيْفَ إِذَا جِئْنَا مِنْ كُلِّ أُمَّةٍ بِشَهِيدٍ وَجِئْنَا بِكَ عَلٰى هَؤُلَاءِ شَهِيْدًا) قَالَ: «حَسْبُكَ الْاٰنَ». فَالْتَفَتُّ إِلَيْهِ فَإِذَا عَيْنَاهُ تَذْرِفَانِ. (مُتَّفَقٌ عَلَيْهِ)
On the authority of Abdullah bin Masoud, he said: The Messenger of God, may God bless him and grant him peace, said to me while he was on the pulpit: “Recite to me.” I said: I recite to you and to you was it revealed? He said: “I would love to hear it from someone else.” So I recited Surat An-Nisa until I came to this verse (So how about when We come from every nation? As a witness, We have brought you as a witness against these.” He said: “It is sufficient for you now.” So I turned to him and saw that his eyes were tearing up. (agreed)
