Hadith #40124
وَعَنْ عَائِشَةَ قَالَتْ: كَانَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ إِذَا قَامَ مِنَ اللَّيْلِ افْتَتَحَ صَلَاتَه فَقَالَ: «اللّهُمَّ رَبَّ جِبْرِيْلَ وَمِيكَائِيْلَ وَإِسْرَافِيْلَ فَاطِرَ السَّموتِ وَالْأَرْضِ عَالِمَ الْغَيْبِ وَالشَّهَادَةِ أَنْتَ تَحْكُمُ بَيْنَ عِبَادِكَ فِيمَا كَانُوا فِيهِ يَخْتَلِفُونَ اهْدِنِىْ لِمَا اخْتُلِفَ فِيهِ مِنَ الْحَقِّ بِإِذْنِكَ إِنَّكَ تَهْدِي مَنْ تَشَاءُ إِلى صِرَاطٍ مُسْتَقِيْمٍ» . رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ
On the authority of Aisha, she said: When the Prophet, peace and blessings of God be upon him, got up at night, he would open his prayer and say: “O God, Lord of Gabriel, Michael, and Israfil, the Creator.” The heavens and the earth, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed. You judge between Your servants concerning that in which they differed. Guide me regarding that in which they differed. It is true, by Your permission, that You guide whomsoever You will to a straight path.” Narrated by Muslim
